Got bedrooms done before picking up DS from school, all I need to do up there is dust and hoover, then do my dailies downstairs. Might make a big batch of twinks this afternoon and freeze half for Christmas - do they freeze well once cooked does anyone know?
Made big progress, DS stayed dry all morning at pre-school :j he came home in the same trousers he went in for the first time!
Feeding the baby, then getting going again. So, there are these boys,
They kinda stole my heart,
They call me Mummy

Hello all,
Feeling extremely grotty here today, full of cold and feeling sorry for myself so it must be the dreaded Manflu!!!
Hellyboo - Great news about DS, fingers crossed you have turned a corner.
Today I need to do some light tidying although I feel terrible but I have Chrimbo presents for people sitting on my dining room table and my mum is already refering to my LR as a book shop. Thankfully she kept her neb out of the box and didn't see the big poetry collection I have got her. Also have to sort out sofa it does seem to develop a hotspot very fast in this house. I currently have it adorned with crochet books, wool, a jar of sunflower seeds, post, my purse, a grabber and a collection of tissues amongst other things. Most unacceptable.
Pretty much everywhere else is kinda hanging in there ok so maybe a binbag dance and a wander round checking for gibble should sort it.. so listy..
Tidy down dining room table
Sort out chrimbo gifts and add to lists
stash chrimbo gifts
Sort out post
Binbag dance
Deal with messy sofa
Wander round tidying where required
I should be ok with that, also need to pull out my cold/flu box take some medicine and have something to eat even tho i do not fancy it. Maybe soup and toast. Dig out a vest to put on under my clothes, extra layers and all that. Oh and get washed and dressed too lol.
Back in a bit going to make a start with a HHC from 13.20, anyone coming to join in?
Love Hugs and Spoons

Since my last post I am now showered so all nice and clean and dry.
I've cleaned the bath, cleared more mouse droppings from under the sink and cleaned it, then put more pellets down.
Made meatballs in tomato sauce for dinner tonight and tidied kitchen afterwards.
Now to start my list!
Take it easy Sarah, I'm right behind you with a HHC

I've set up the ironing board and iron at the chair in the living room so I can be lazy and sit down and iron! Got 2 massive Ikea bags, and a washing basket, all full of ironing.
DD's passport arrived this morning - phew! We are off to Disneyland Paris on 1st Dec and i left it a bit late to get her passport - but nevermind, it's here now and safely put away with the others (which I have just triple checked, all still in date!)
Off to the ironing I go...
(if I get it done now then packing for holiday will be easy, I always leave stuff to the last minute usually and find myself drying essential clothes with a hairdryer as DH is trying to bundle me out the door :rotfl:)Grocery Challenge £5.43/£320.00

Great news Hellyboo
Pigpen ewwww!
Right my bimble went ok (hope yours did too penpen)
BINNED George - there is another which works properly in the garage DP keeps promising to get out since last year, well he'll have to now if he wants his beloved toasties
Cleaned the window - with a cloth on a spatula as I have no 'steps' and DP was supposed to do it - so yes that gunk has been on since before the summer when steps broke
Opened a blind and window on one side again first public viewing since before summer
Binned another carrier of stuff
Sorted some paperwork I found
Dumped a soldering iron, extension lead and drill charger in the hall - why fill the tiny kitchen I hate with more ****
Emptied wm, cleaned seals and refilled
Cleared the bench where George was which is soaking in degreaser
Made myself a reward cuppa
You know it's bad when you need to take a dustpan and brush instead of a cloth to a bench!
Ok so I am getting there, slowly but surely. I will do another HHC 2.15-2.45 before I collect the boys. They are off to the cinema with their group tomorrow so if I don't get it finished tonight (which I hope to) I will have some time then. One day I might be more organised...........

I am going easy I promise!!!
Also going around today for the first time without my dressings as I have developed a horrible sore itchy rash from the adhesives. Some patches of skin are raw and cracking too so I am thinking I am better off without them.
[STRIKE]Tidy down dining room table[/STRIKE] It is tidier, well 2/3 is visible wood and that is just fine for me right now.
[STRIKE]Sort out chrimbo gifts and add to lists[/STRIKE] Done,
[STRIKE]stash chrimbo gifts[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Sort out post[/STRIKE] Got some nice oil tart scent samples but sadly cannot smell a thing - typical :rotfl:
[STRIKE]Binbag dance[/STRIKE] Walked round with recycling bag and rubbish bag all done and put in bin now
[STRIKE]Deal with messy sofa[/STRIKE] Now organised mess
[STRIKE]Wander round tidying where required[/STRIKE]
See Mollina Girl, I didn't really do any serious flying I just spent half an hour having a straighten up.
One more thing I must share with you.. I got my sister a telephone doodle book for £3.99 from the bookppl it is so good and a fab gift for the doodler who you just do not know what to get. I just wish I had ordered one for myself too now!
Ok, off to drink coffee then force down some lunch.
