Why am I working in the living room? Think I am avoiding the horrid kitchen :o but I've done something at least rather than nothing ....

Must do something in that kitchen, it's awful, but suppose apart from the boys room so is everything else :( I need to shake the BDs off I get when I think about sorting it and just get on with it. I really want to bake this weekend so I need to do the kitchen to do that....

Oh and I am pleased I didn't pay express delivery for DS1s school jumpers as they're here before then, bloomin Trutex are such rip off merchants

Right - kitchen, HHC 12-12.30 if anyone wants to join me, will use the 15 mins to finish off what I am doing in the living room

PenPen to be totally honest, my friend found it cheaper to buy a small micra run about and insure it for her son then it was a present sorted, no worrying about them damaging her car (micra would be off insurance fix or get rid) and her son could start to build up vital premium reducing NCB
One day I might be more organised...........

Failed to sort out home insurance so will need to visit the broker in town next week. Might do one more comparison for the sake of the the possible cashback though.

Going to do a HHC now before sorting out some lunch.

PenPen see you're doing similar to me. I still have DH car insurance to sort plus Mum's elec/gas to look at.

  • Ok. In my HHC, I managed to get my dailes done and declutter the rabbits outside. Things look better on the surface. The postman brought the first of my seeds from the Thompson & Morgan offer today so I'm happy and a few more bits for pressies sorted. Time for a coffee now and off to tackle something of the list.

Well I did quite a bit in my half an hour then needed loo ( I took cleaning stuff with me as Dp left it in a horrid state - which I am sick of!) then made myself a cuppa for while I do my reply :)

    I did .....

Put all fridge stuff away including everything DP and DSs left out from breakfast
Decided dinner choices while on a rummage- I must start meal planning again!
Filled a sack full of rubbish - my god all from the kitchen
    Emptied dishwasher/Filled dishwasher
Emptied WM into TD then filled WM with cloths and soda crystals as it pongs
    Sorted breads/rolls out
Filled sink to soak the bubba kegs DP has used and the flasks
Put some more of the shopping - which arrived on Tuesday - away properly :o
Cleared cooker top of baking trays etc - realising I need some new ones hmm maybe use some of the gift cards

Another HHC 1-1.30 if anyone else wants to bimble along with me. Until then I will keep flinging in the living room as I sup my cuppa. Not wasting a moment of my day off seeing as DP didn't want to do anything and is back in bed!

    Afternoon all

Two loads of washing done. I've polished in the living room and the computer desk and vacuumed right through downstairs.

    Hope everyone's OK.
