I just took the drawer out of my washing machine to give it a rinse... I only did it a month ago but there was black mould on it  It turned into more of a scrub than a rinse bleurghhhh!!

Chucked a few tea towels in with some soda crystals & vinegar on the hottest wash in an attempt to make them look a little less stained and gross...

    Hi All

Hope you are all well, I was very busy all weekend crafting things!! So I have not had time to catch up!

I am in as best as I can be this week, I couldn’t get to sell my crafty things yesterday (long story) so I carried on painting DD’s room, only 1 wall to get one more coat then I can start the papering which I am dreading as she has high ceilings and I am vertically challenged :rotfl:

Grab a hug/stick/spoon as you go past if you need/want one.

Special love and hugs as always to Lady-L, Toots & Diva x

Well, he tell me today, he now has one, it seems grandpa  gave in a bought one inc cage and all the other bits, then it seems that his ‘proper grandmother’ thought the 1st one would be lonely, so she also went out and bought another one and put it in the cage with the 1st one……………………………..:eek:

I have just enquired of ‘grandpa’ the sex of these 2 hamsters, to which I have been told ‘I don’t know’,:eek: I have suggest he finds out now rather than later,………….I have a feeling when I get there in a few weeks, there are going to be loads of them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Just heard that I am on the move, get to view the house on Friday, and then the tenancy is available next week. So its all systems go.
I am excited now. But also scared.
I have been lucky enough to obtain a removal firm that will Pack the house one day, and deliver it to me the next one. So I dont have that to worry about. Curtousy of my lovely old Dad.
Now I can dream of carpets and curtains. Cookers and ......a complete new start.

Better still do my cleaning here though. Could also have decluttered better then I have.
When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.

Invigilating done so having a cuppa now.
There's 4 of us Mollina and DS HAS to stay in the shower for 20 mins( no room for negotiation) DD I try and prise out after 15 but if she's washing her hair then that creeps to 20 mins also its a 10.5 KW shower- really considering changing to water mains but our water pressure is quite low and would need a pump so would'nt really gain anything

The shower could be your tipping point. You know your daily useage so go onto your suppliers website and see how much it costs per day (taking into account the higher rate for the first x number of units per day). Or pop over to the utilities board, they are very helpful there.
Can someone help me please. I have cleaned the filter on the WM, the drawer doesn't need cleaning as I use a scoop of soda crystals along with the soap powder so it keeps the drawer nice and clean, but - what is everyone doing with vinegar:question::question:

My filter is a little door on the front at the bottom of the machine. I have to open the door and then you can remove the filter by turning it PUT A POT UNDERNEATH AND DO THIS SLOWLY AS QUITE A LOT OF WATER COMES OUT! Clean the filter in the sink - mine is always covered in grey sludge and clean out the area where it came from. I squirt some bleach in the before returning mine.

Kazw hilarious about the hamsters and thanks for the mail - annoyed that my store was not on the list.

School run done and trip to the shop. DD doing her homework while complaining. The boys are killing each other in the livingroom so i think i'll find a job each for them. ;)

Bo now outside so i can get near the wm without him trying to escape. :rotfl: First load going in now.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Sparkleworld, Im with DustyKitten here, if that is a 20 mins shower for both kids, then you and hubby having a 10 min shower each, thats your 10 units a day as thats an hour running the shower. then the other 6 units a day is normal usage i.e washing machine, tv, cooking etc. if you dont have one of those energy monitors take a read before kid goes in shower then take a meter read after said shower and you will see how much electric that 1 shower has just cost you in terms of electric.

if you want any help in working things out pm or ask on here, i work for a utility company so if i can be of help just let me know.

Right Im off for a HHC doing the rest of the kitchen then a HHI.

    Afternoon all,

I am in again this week last week came and went with us all suffering a stomach upset so very little flying done.

Thanks once again to FCC for keeping things going.

Boddy very sorry to hear your news please take care of your self over the next couple of days, the sense of loss never goes away but it does become bareable over time and happier memories come to the front rather than the sadder ones.

I have caught up on here with a cuppa and now need to get on with tea and will sort out the kitchen whilst cooking.

Think all this will keep me going for a while. Will start with a HHC at 4.45 if anyone wants to join in.
