Our combined gas and leccy is £91 per month, for a 2-bed bungalow; I'm here all the time, and we don't stint on heating because of my health. Don't know how this compares with your place, but I hope it gives you something to compare with.:osparkleworld wrote: » Please could you advise me if £90 a month electricity is excessive?
We have a seperate gas bill for Gas CH and hot water, Gas fire and Gas hob. 3 bed semi with electric shower no tumble drier but do have dishwasher and cook from scratch most things. meter readings being done twice daily say we are using roughly 14-16 units a day.If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -

Boddy sending hugs and good wishes your way, I can only imagine what you're going through, my Mum was seriously ill earlier in the year and I would have been distraught if the worst had happened. (((hugs)))
Have not done much this morning as OH was here and he sits on his a&$e while I do stuff and I get annoyed! And he moans that he's got the day off but doesn't see me - but of course he doesn't help with the chores... Have stripped the bed and got it in the machine. About to do a clean cycle as it needs it after all the wet trousers from DS that we've had over the last few weeks...best dig the vinegar out. Actually think there might be a few things I can cross off as done recently or unessential - let's see -

Can someone help me please. I have cleaned the filter on the WM, the drawer doesn't need cleaning as I use a scoop of soda crystals along with the soap powder so it keeps the drawer nice and clean, but - what is everyone doing with vinegar:question::question:0

Mollina_Girl wrote: »but - what is everyone doing with vinegar:question::question:
Vinegar acts as a fabric conditioner
It neutralises the limescale in the water, so protects the machine and pipes too
I've made a sausage cassoulet for tea, and will make a cake to go in the tin
