Kitchen cleaned but floor still to be mopped.
Cos kettle has broken I'm using our camping kettle on the gas hob and it takes ages to boil so I managed to clean and wipe the pc and desk and dining table all whilst waitning for it to boil.

Have experienced a few disasters over the last few weeks and getting a bit fed up of stuff breaking down:mad:. Is it just me or does everyone go through these phases.

 Please could you advise me if £90 a month electricity is excessive?
We have a seperate gas bill for Gas CH and hot water, Gas fire and Gas hob. 3 bed semi with electric shower no tumble drier but do have dishwasher and cook from scratch most things. meter readings being done twice daily say we are using roughly 14-16 units a day.

That seems like an awful lot. Our electricity is £39 per month and over the year works out about right.
We also have a seperate gas bill for Gas CH and hot water, Gas fire and Gas hob. We have a dishwasher and a tumble dryer which I use when necessary. We live in a semi with 2 double bedrooms, seperate dining room and a 3rd small bedroom which we use as an office. The only difference seems to be the shower - ours runs off the hot water from the boiler. Also, how many are there in your house, there is only 2 of us here.
