So sorry to read about your Mum, Boddy - everything you wrote about her showed how much you cared.
Morning all
I've done the kitchen/diner, damp wiped the living room and computer desk, vacuumed right through downstairs and did the stairs. Washing out on the line, very frosty today but the sun is lovely.
Managed to change my dentist appointment from next week to tomorrow (bit of tooth came off last week, tooth doesn't hurt but it's rough and making my mouth really sore). Also rang vet after a bad weekend with the dog and we're changing her medication again. Good job I haven't got a new carpet yet...
Not finished catching up yet so I hope everyone else is OK.0 -
Making some inroads here.
WM and TD have both been on, clothes folded/sorted and some of them have even been put away!!!
Christmas list about to be updated with the aid of a :coffee:Official Mascot and Chief Cheerleader for the 'Mortgage Free in Three' Gang0 -
I'm back
Downstairs HHC done and fridge cleaned out. Had to throw a few bits away which never happens so a bit cross with myself.
PenPen what does 'enjoy before' on smoothie tubes mean? Can they be eaten past their date?
Time to order another present and check the bank accounts and then on with my upstairs HHC before lunch. The birds of sadness may fly overhead but don't let them nest in your hair0 -

Boddy ((hugs)) a few more hugs for you this morning, still thinking of you x
First part of today's project done. All furniture from boys rooms measured and the rooms then DP (yes he's a geek) used a room planner on the computer to ensure it would all fit.... I'm less geeky (just) and did it on graph paper..... And we wonder why we got 2 boys on the autistic spectrum. Anyway we've worked out a way the beds they have will fit as no spare pennies to buy new and didn't want DS2 on the futon for ages. I've put 2 washer loads in so far and one in the TD.... Frozen over here this morning so not hopeful of putting it out to dry. I've put the boys stuff, as I can't put it away until the rooms are done into black bags
Then I made bacon sandwiches and coffee and we've sat on our bottoms since ..... Not so good
Hope you all have a good day xOne day I might be more organised...........

Morning all,
Nice to see you back Mollina hunny.
Feeling a bit blue still here but going to try and keep occupied so that I do not let this black dog take over. In the words of our wonderful Lamewolf it is snapping at my heels.
Anyway my list..
1. Write Christmas cards list/cards
2. Make file of recipes and throw out old magazines - All magazines now torn up and recipes in a big pile
3. Organise lappy files
4. Start turning granny squares into a blanket
5.[STRIKE] Do freebies hunt[/STRIKE]
6. Organise freebies into gifts for chrimbo
7. Burn piccies and documents onto discs for back ups
8. Spend ages working out what to do with £5.50 of Tesco point vouchers..
Going to get myself dressed today too, lazy I know but haven't worn anything other than pjs since I got back from hospital as they are so comfortable. Off to go hunt for some loose clothing and obv cant wear a bra yet as it squeezes me on a wound but its a start..:)

I live a bit on the edge with dates on foodI try to use things before their "Use By" date, but don;t worry if they go over a bit. Are these a yogurt type thing? I'd use them past their date, with the caveat that you can see, taste and smell them (unlike me
) so use your common sense
Lots more done - love this dot-to-dotting :j Scouts accounts done, but they've thrown up 3 more things I need to action, so will do that later.
Is it lunch time yet?:rudolf: Sheep, pigs, hens and bees on our Teesdale smallholding :rudolf:0 -
Hi all
I'm in again, many thanks FCC.
Just having a time out and finishing skim-reading last 6 pages of last week + 1st 6 of this week!! Didn't get chance over weekend, as I had a ton of CAMRA paperwork to do.
Boddy big (((HUGS))) so sorry for your loss. May your Mum's journey to the Summerlands be a pleasant one.
ShySarah nice to see you *bats BD over the nose* Take it steady, and make sure you're recuperating properly.:o
2 loads of washing done and outside (brrrr - COLD out there); will be continuing with baking in a mo, so will clean the kitchen properly after.
Saw the list, luckily, just before midnight last night, and Mr LW is going to help defrost the freezer tonight, as I can't lift the drawers out myself.:A
Tbh, I'm more than a little shaky today; we have our new doors being delivered tomorrow, and I'm always VERY nervous if I have to deal with people and Mr LW's not here. Normally he arranges such things for when he's working from home, but this time we didn't have a choice of delivery date. Pathetic, I know.... can't help it, though.:(
Right, must go and get on, or I won't get finished. If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)0 -
Hugs LW can you think of a little treat for yourself once the doors have been sorted? Something to reward yourself with..
am back from doc's with antibioticsat least I know why I've been feeling so yucky.
Right, the kitchen is done apart from the floorWill do the dining room now. PenPen, if you're hungry, then yes!
OnestepWhen people show you who they are, believe them the first time0
