    You can do it!
Maybe you should draw a memory girl tree to colour in. I might try and do one for the next year!

Memory girl has a really fast moving thread that is inspiring but difficult to keep up with.
She drew a picture of a tree with each leaf representing a small payment to her debt e.g. If aiming to pay off £2 000 aim to do it in £100 chunks. Draw 20 leaves on tree and colour in 1 each time you pay another £100.

I'm planning to do something similar- not realistic for me to do one for the whole mortgage but might do one for my challenge target this year. I might also make a ticker for this years challenge as on DFW!

THIS is what I have done. Each brick is 1k, slowly getting there (even if some have to be removed occasionally :o)

Been at home all day today, DD2 really isn't well so she's been on sofa dozing and thankfully drinking a lot, just not eating. Tonight will consist of decluttering the last of the xmas wine in prep for January.
I've managed a mini declutter this afternoon of reducing the amount of coat hangers in dd2's wardrobe. I've taken down all the xmas decs and tree etc so the lounge looks a little tidier.

    My January plans

    - make £200 to overpay the mortgage
    - No alcohol
    - Maximum £50 personal spends for me (this will usually be food when at work, kindle ebooks and not much else, It's the food at work thing I need to stop)
    - Sign up for the Race for Life when the registrations start (there's goes £12.99 of my personal spends)

Gallygirl that is ace! Did you make it on excel? I had thought of doing something similar but had decided I'm not artistic enough- however I'm sure I can do it in excel. Thanks for that.

YB well done on the decluttering and happy new year!

Hmmm I've been naughty and bought myself a new years eve pressie I bought some soap and glory. Too much of a bargain to pass up on and it'll keep me going for ages. I got £5 off with a code too so still MSE lol. Still cheaper than going out drinking tonight
