Lunches are where I struggle and then end up buying from the shop, so my meal planning focuses mainly on lunch and dinner

    Weds - L= Rolls with ham / D = chilli con carne
    Thurs - L= mackerel couscous salad / D = Meatballs
    Fri - L = Chicken & Bacon pasta / D = Lamb shanks
    Sat - L = Bacon & Cheese Tart / D = Thai Chicken Curry
    Sun - L = left over curry / D = Roast Pork

I am at work for thurs, fr, sat, sun lunch which makes it a bit more diff for me this week, but the salad, pasta, tart, thai curry and chilli will all be made from scratch and taken into work or reheated at work.

Well done on the sales! Mine are going OK, need to find some more things to list I think.

Meal plans look fab, I struggle thinking of what to do for lunch too.

I seem to be scouring the house with new eyes Wendz lol. I have earmarked a lot of bits for the carboot in the spring, but I don't think that will happen until after the wedding.

My fridge is full of lots of lovely greenery and fresh bits and pieces now. I forgot to buy juice and ribena though - doh, so the shopping wont have been as cheap as I thought but never mind we'll eat better this week and it wont cost too much more.

Been playing with figures again tonight (as you do), and if I live super frugally, my excess can be chucked into emergency savings and be used as and when is needed for those nasty surprises. The money that OH and I have been putting towards the wedding can also be put in emergency savings. That way any extras I earn can go straight to the mortgage. That in itself is quite exciting.

    Thanks Jellie.

I've had 2 NSD in a row and today is on track for another one. I can highly reccomend the mackerel couscous, it made three large portions and it was scrummy. I'm going to attempt bacon and cheese tarts this afternoon for lunch tomorrow at work.

    Well done on the NSD's!

The money plans sound fab and you are well on your way to living frugally at the moment, so could happen.
