Happy new year to everyone. Slightly (only slightly though) hungover this morning. Decluttered all the wine last night so no temptation for January. Having an indoors day today as dd2 still not quite right, but better than yesterday.

We've moved furniture around this morning in an attempt to create space for toys, but what I'm left with is a big pile in my bedroom to tidy. Hopefully I'll be able to declutter some of that as well.
  • well done on the decluttering of wine! :rotfl: and happy new year

My decluttering has seen me list 4 things on ebay this evening.
Also written a dooyoo review, hoping to get to £20 soon to get an amazon voucher for bits for kids goody bags for the wedding.

I couldn't declutter any of the chocolate and nice food yesterday, was feeling too rough :rotfl::rotfl:

Today I'm going to declutter four presents and a card to new homes, but I have a nasty feeling we'll return with a couple of presents.

Couldn't sleep last night despite being tired and everything was going round in my head. I think I have realised that half of my problems is that we always "make do" and I hate sleeping in the bed OH had before we met (6 years ago) and that every year our old patio furniture annoys me when we eat from it in the garden when every year I say we'll have new next year etc.

So this year I have to concentrate on improving some of the house to improve my mood. The poor house deserves a chance as it hasn't had a lot of love spent on it since we moved here. Once that's done if it's still not the house for us then I think it will be time to move, but I have to try first.

First up this morning is to go and rake some of the leaves from the back garden and find a pot to temp home a tree we got for xmas.

Could you tart up the patio furniture with a paint until you have a chance to buy more? Are you having a wedding list?
