Oh yes it really does all help.

I've been out shopping this morning, bought my new winter boots - paid £5.50 (rest was vouchers), a new handbag - paid £11 (rest was vouchers), DD2 a toy she wants for xmas - paid £11 (rest was vouchers) and spent £20 in Asda on stocking bits for both girls.

Wow, well done, that's an amazing haul ~ had to laugh at the 3 '(rest was vouchers)' :rotfl: How did you manage that?? Were they from surveys?? I have two £10 M&S vouchers & one £10 Boots voucher via VO that I intend using for Christmas.

Yep, from surveys that I have saved through the year etc. I was aiming to spend the M&S ones on xmas pressies but there was nothing we wanted for anyone to buy for, so I had them.

£8.15 moved into the OP pot this morning.

I've been doing my sums this evening and have worked out what I need to pay next year to be on target for the ten year plan. I am going to aim to OP the interest each month which will set me on target nicely and sits at around £250 ish varying each month.

In the last few days I have

    - sold items on ebay - £45 - £35 into DD1's clothes xmas present budget and the rest in paypal to go towards pressies.
    - Worked 5 hours extra to be paid at the end of the month (more than likely to go towards dd1's xmas pressie clothes fund.)
    - redeemed a £10 argos voucher - to go towards someone's xmas pressie
  • Well done yukki...ebay is great for raising a bit of money. Isold a lot of stuff recently and kept the money in my paypal account to buy bits and pieces like ink for the printer and a couple of xmas pressies....it means the money in the bank seems to go further :D

Nothing much happening in my MFW world hence no updates I'm afraid. I did OP a token £15 but now I have been concentrating on xmas pressies. Nearly finished and then I can get back to overpaying and saving again.

I am doing well on taking food to work and staying out of the shops which is resulting in the word "M*******S" appearing a lot less on my bank statements when I check online.
