I'm not sure if the website is sorted yet, haven't had a chance to even look at it since yesterday. If you want to test it pink poppy please be my guest.
I managed to find a good grabbit this morning whilst at work and reserved DD2 the leappad in pink for £63.99 and got a free leapfrog toy which will be perfect for our friend's one year old for FREE. - yay
so tired tonight, been at work, picked dd2 up from school went for a run, sorted dinner, spilt rice all over the kitchen floor, hoovered up, put washing out, sit down

£paypal money landed this morning so sent an OP of £65. Working towards my next target of £50 now. Another couple of orders on my website last night which was really nice.
Hubby spent most of yesterday evening playing with the leappad which was quite amusing. It can keep a 30something man occupied for an evening! He was also quite taken with the caterpillar toy we got free too but I've told he he can't keep it lol0 -
Glad the website seems to be working ok now, we had a bit of an incident yesterday (involving police & an ambulance!!) so didn't get on my laptop last night.
Well done on the £65 overpayment ~ does that give you a nice round number remaining now??
How long until your next month ticked off?? I can't wait to be doing that, makes me smile just thinking about it

Oh no PP is everything OK?
I was supposed to OP by £62.10 to give my spreadsheet a balance of £78,500 but now it says £78,497.10 so I actually want to get to £47.10 lol. To knock off the next month it's going to take another £156.50. I will automatically OP £80 on the 20th anyway so just another £76.50 to find. Do-able.
Naughty tonight and had a chinese takeaway
Just been doing some sums - I've requested £9.86 from TCB / £11.23 from Cia / £1.76 in OP pot now / £27.50 requested from phone cashback (assuming this comes throug quickly) / £7.98 bids on ebay ending tomorrow / £6.52 in PP just leaves me £11.65 to knock the next month off!0 -
The 'incident' probably sounds more dramatic than it actually was, although seeing & hearing the ambulance arriving was quite exciting!! :rotfl: All ok though, no harm done.
Hope you enjoyed your chinese last night, I made an indian curry last night (from an Aldi jar
) & the house still stinks of curry now!! Was nice though ~ 'specially selected' dopiaza if you're interested
I'm very impressed at how quickly you're getting the money together for your next overpayment, you seem to be really on the ball, think I need to follow your example.'A watched potato will never chit'...0 -
I have never been to Aldi as the nearest one is about 8 miles, but we do have a Lidl that is fairly close that I really should go into.
Thanks, my trouble is if I set myself a target then I cannot deviate from it no matter how much I want thos new winter boots or I need a jumper as the weather is getting colder etc. I HAVE to get to the target I have set before I can think of anything else.
Ebay sales ended on about £12 which was good and also got a £1.50 refund into paypal from an out of stock bead order so that helps the target. I'm wondering whether to count the £27.50 phone cashback yet or not as I'm unsure how long it will take to get to me.0 -
Still waiting for two ebay sales to be paid. Having a quiet day today which is nice0

I've been playing with my spreadsheet *as you do*. Theoretically I want to get rid within 10 years from this december. I have worked out that if we *knock a month off every month* then it'll be gone just short of this ten year target in Aug 2021.
Obv life can get in the way and we do want to make sure DD2 gets to experience disney etc. The target basically means we have to overpay approx £225 per month to knock another month off. Anything over this will go into savings / holidays etc.
Scared? Yes0 -
£225 to knock a month off every month, wow that sounds achievable if you carry on as you have been, especially if the website sales are picking up ~ don't be scared, be excited!!

I'm scared because I want to save money as well as overpay, and I'm scared because I want to be able to walk away from my job if that moment ever comes where I know I cannot take it anymore without having another job to walk into.0
