Glad you found the recipe- I've got a bar of chocolate so have been chopping small bits to put on them! Fresh bread will be lovely. I'd better decide what to bake today!2019 fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons0

Woohoo I found some chocolate chips (amazing what you find when you clear out cupboards) so have got some cookie dough resting in the fridge.
I've also cleared out my coffee / tea / mug cupboard and sorted through the tins and spices cupboard.
Going to have to get to the supermarket tomorrow somehow as running out of everything. Still we'll have cookies later when I cook some.0 -
Yeah for cookies!
Good luck getting to the supermarket tomorrow.2019 fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons0 -
I don't think I am a cookie maker. I don't like them and I couldn't roll them properly so had to cook them all in one go rather than freezing some dough. Hey ho it was worth a try.
I'll get to a supermarket even if I have to walk but I may not get lots if I walk as it'll have to be carried back and it'll take around 20 mins to walk in the snow.0 -
Bet they were fine for a first try. Mine weren't the best shape but tasted fine. Like you I don't eat them much but fancied having the dough in the freezer in case anyone drops by for tea!2019 fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons0

Everyone else likes them so they must be OK.
Woke up this morning with a very stiff neck and slight sore throat. Hoping it doesn't develop into anything. I can barely turn my head to one side though which isn't good. I think I'll have a long soak in the bath tonight when DD goes to bed to see if that helps.
Braved the supermarket this morning. Didn't get everything we wanted but we have a boxing day lunch sorted now and all the veg etc. I can get other bits as I go to work through the week as I'll be right next door to a shop.0 -
Glad you managed the supermarket trip. Hope you're feeling better.2019 fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons0

I've been laying on the sofa for the majority of the time today reading my kindle (that I'm not supposed to have until my birthday on thursday) - shhhhh lol.
Feel ok though so don't think I'm coming down with anything. I think I actually pulled a muscle in my neck which is making it hurt so that's marginally better.
DD is sticking and glueing, just going to have a chilled out afternoon.
I hate the week before xmas, I am excited but want xmas day here so I can crack on with new year plans etc. Sounds awful doesn't it. Also we have lots of scrummy xmasy food that we all said has to wait until xmas eve to start eating it.0 -
Almost lost my voice now and have a cold. Still don't feel too bad in general so we'll get through I'm sure

Merry xmas to everyone if I'm not about later. Hope you get everything you wish for x0 -
