It is certainly working fine today! Fortunately I had a 50% coupon so things like the nuts which were on BOGOF were actually free! My final bill was around £11 ( but it started off at over £70 before the BOGOFs, 3 4 2's and 50% - I did buy a few items which weren't on special offer just to pad the total out a bit). Wonderful bargain - pity I was on foot and limited by what I could carry in a couple of bags. Knew I should have taken the car.

I asked M&S and was told that there is no pattern as to who gets what in the way of vouchers. As there are only so many places for the evening, not everybody gets the invite. And finally and most importantly, they are the same as every other company in which they use marketing tactics to get people in the door, therefor if like myself you spend a lot of money in M&S you will not receive any of the decent vouchers! Shame really, I thought M&S would be better than that!
  • Agree twinklyeys, spend a good £3k a month on the damn card and get rubbish offers. Maybe I need to switch to another for a month or two and they may try to tempt me back with better offers

Don't suppose anyone knows when the BOGOF offers finish as I can't use my 50% off voucher until 20/11?
  • I noticed the premium club is going up to £15 a month. Completely agree it is not really worth that - we usually go to USA for 2 weeks a year but can get single trip insurance much cheaper.

Will probably stop the premium club when they start to charge me the £15 a month.

With the vouchers I got the 20% off tinned foods and the £5 Xmas shop voucher.

I have a m&s credit card, is there another type? I got my reward vouchers and the usual 5xpoints on various things and dates, but no invite or discount on tins and jars?

Haha! Neither did I but I spend quite a bit with M&S, however my other half who also has a card got loads of vouchers - he doesn't spend anything at all with them normally.....

....well until yesterday when we took advantage of the glitch! Just wish I'd known about it as I would have bought more but didn't realise until the amount had been totalled up - but anyway we got £110 worth of products for £36!!!! Good old M&S! :T (we were expecting to pay around £55!)

His voucher was valid until the 12th of December - so they must have different dates on the 50% off vouchers! (and I used it on my account rather than his - so not specific to the cardholder that received it either!!!!)

Be careful what you buy though - the beetroot and chutneys that were BOGOF worked out completely free!!! But the boxed conserves (which I thought were jars but clearly they are classified as boxed for this promotion) and the tinned box of tea didn't get anything knocked off. I didn't like to complain clearly....especially when the beetroot and chutneys worked out completely free!!!!!! But the tins of salmon, jars of olives, pasta sauces were all included. Theres some lovely olive jars packaged for Xmas normally £7.99 each (but were on a 3 for 2) which were included - and we worked out that after the promotion they worked out at just over a quid each!

I just wished I'd picked up a trolley load instead of a couple of baskets....but that would just be greed wouldn't it?!?!?! Be careful though as they might end up fixing the glitch - so either be prepared to leave it at checkouts or ensure that you are happy for it to be 50% off alone - just incase!!!!!!

Perhaps M&S is trying to tell me something - as opposed to selling me something. Premium Club member, spending oodles on my M&S card, but not at M&S, all I've received are my points vouchers - no invite, no x% off vouchers - nothing. Oh well - M&S is helping me become a money-saver, by steering me away from their goodies!

I really think they are going to lose a lot of memberships when the premium goes up to £15, especially when they are not going to respect the loyalty of some of their customers!
  • I got the 20% off too, so much for the Premium M&S card! I too am going to cancel the Premium bit, £10 wasn`t too bad - £15 is pushing it really.

I'm sorry - I didn't notice the dates. However, the onion chutney/mustard/apple sauce/seafood sauce BOGOF has been on for over a week (I bought a couple of jars about 8/9 days ago) so I would think that offer will end soon. You will probably be OK though as they will likely have different BOGOFs by the 20th which will hopefully be on other jars & tins. You may even find the canned meats/fish are on offer.

The Christmas stuff that was on B1G1F was a newer offer - I didn't see it last week - so may run for longer. I'm sure you will still be able to get some cheap/free stuff.
