The invite I got said that there is a specific part of the store set aside for Premium card holders for drinks and mince pies. I got the 20% off.

Is it if you are a premium club you get the £5 off but only 20% off tins etc but are a cardholder you don't get the £5 voucher but get 50%?

Again with the premium club going up to £15 per month is it really worth it? We don't take advantage of the travel insurance.

I too have the Premium card but did not get £5 with invite! I am thinking the same regarding the increase to £15 per month. It worked well for us last year as we travelled to Canada but this year we have no plans to travel abroad.
  • my husband and I both have accounts he just got his points voucher no additional offer vouchers and no invite to shopping event - he never does!!

I got my points vouchers and some additional offer vouchers but only 20% off tins and then the invite to shopping event.

I got the 50% 0ff and hb got the 20% off. Also £5 to spend on special day. Want to really stock up on m&s tinned stuff as I really like it but will be to embarrassed to go over the top. It's brilliant, though i was expecting at the check out to say loads of thing weren't on it. Got segs on my eyeballs scrutinising the small print.

I only have the credit card as don't think it's good value for money for the premium account but did get the 50% off canned food, jars, tea, coffee, crisps and nuts valid until 12 Dec.

Many thanks OP for posting as I'd probably not of even noticed it - as it is I'm going to get in a supply of the tinned meat as it's a great back-up and at this price excellent value.

The other vouchers were all 3 or 5 times extra points.

I have the 50% off voucher too, valid until 12th December.

I have never had one of these before, can I literally buy any canned foods, jars, teas, coffees crisps & nuts for half price?

(T&C on the back don't help neither.)

We bought a load of nuts BOGOF ysterday. But if it is unlimited I will really stock up. Any advice appreciated please as I assume i can only use this the one time.

AFAIK yes, this is the way it works. I did not realise before I went to the checkout, otherwise I would have bought a lot more (!) - but i did have some 342s and BOGOFs and the coupon took off the 50% first, THEN the other discounts - the SA couldn't believe how cheap my shopping was. Usual caveat I suppose - it could be a glitch that gets fixed. Also, as I said before, maybe don't mix it with a meal deal, as that seemed to confuse the till - for me anyway. Good luck! SS - ps, it does exclude branded goods, ie its only for M&S brand goods, not other manufacturers brands which they are selling these days.

Thanks for your reply. :T:T I will put it to good use and take full advantage of all the offers available.

It would be a shame not to really wouldn't it? :)

My mam got the £5 off voucher but she will not be near M&S when this needs to be used by so does anyone know if i would be able to spend it for her without having her M&S card with me?

I have an M & S credit card and got the £5 voucher to spend in food, clothing & home when payment is made with your M & S card. So check your mum's voucher before you try to use it.

That was the only voucher I got, no percents of anything or extra points. Wonder how they work out who gets what vouchers?!

I am not a premium card holder and the voucher was for any time before 12th Dec, not a specific Christmas preview night, as some have got.

  • Just wanted to check this before I stock up.

Say M&S Tinned Soup at the moment is 342 priced at I think say 59p. Does that mean I will pay only 83p for 3 tins (i.e 28p each) Calculated as 59p x 3 = £1.77 less 20% discount (only got 20% voucher) (i.e 35p) less 59p for the free soup.

    Say a jar of nuts is £4.99 but on B1G1F. Does that mean I pay £2.99 for 2 jars (i.e £1.50 each) Calculated as £4.99 x 2 = £9.98 less 20% discount (i.e £2) less £4.99 for free jar.

Shame I only got the 20% off voucher must have been a steal with the 50% off.

Just checking if anyone tried this today and still working
    Thanks
