I've just got the Chargecard, not the credit card. I got the points and discounts including the %0% off tins etc (no start date just valid until 12 December) - but I didn't get the invite with the £5.

same here - xmas event not at my nearest store :(

This happened to me last year and I spoke to customer services to say how stupid to invite me to a Christmas event 40 miles away when I have 2 stores about 10 and 15 miles away. They told me that I could go to another store but must take my invite. Might be worth a phone call.
  • Hi
I got the 50% off voucher runs from 20 November to 19 December.

I was expecting a sudden increase in the price before then, a bit cynical I know! If people have different dates maybe not.

I have a M&S mastercard if that makes any difference.

Wow wish I had your vouchers mine are all 2 to 3 times points whereas the 10% off food ones are good because they get discounted off the original prices so great for any £10 meal deals.
Can you please post the online points codes one in the discount and codes section.
Do you have 2 accounts to get the 2 £5 offs that is a really good result.

    Thanks op
I received my mailing the other day..... but hadn't spotted this yet.
I am puzzled though as my 50% off voucher is not valid until the 20th November.... so maybe everyone has different dates and different %'s????
By the way, I am not a premium club member.

    Other vouchers are:
100 bonus points on clothing valid 20th to 28th Nov
100 bonus points on clothing valid 29th Nov to 5th Dec
50 bonus points on clothing valid 6th to 12th Dec
50 bonus points on clothing valid 13th to 19th Dec
50% off canned foods, jars, tea, coffee, crisps and nuts valid 20th Nov to 19th Dec
10% off Food, wine and flowers valid 20th to 28th Nov
10% off Food, wine and flowers valid 29th Nov to 5th Dec
10% off Food, wine and flowers valid 6th to 12th Dec
10% off Food, wine and flowers valid 13th to 19th Dec
300 bonus points with on-line spending valid 20th Nov to 5th Dec
300 bonus points with on-line spending valid 6th to 19th Dec
5 times points on home spending valid 20th Nov to 5th Dec

Plus an invitation to the exclusive cardholder event in November ( 2 dates) - and 2 vouchers for £5 to spend on Clothing, Home and Christmas gift shop on those dates, and Earn 5 times M&S points wys on food, wine and flowers on those dates.

  • i had the 10% off food ones too, maybe worthwhile on the 2 dine for 10 deal then, thanks

That is exactly the time to use 10% off voucher as they take the 10% off the total that the Dine In is before the reduction to bring it to £10, same with any 3 for £10 type offers.

I got the 50% voucher too valid from 20th and its also on Marks crisps and nuts, ideal for Xmas.

Sorry twig, didn't realise you had already posted the above, teach me to skim read :(
  • Don't think you need your M&S card to use your £5.00 voucher.
  • Who knew there were so many variations! - i do not have a premium account, my 50% off was valid till 12 Dec, and i did not get a £5 off - i just wish i had realise how it was going to work, ie taking the percentage off before the other discounts, but still happy with the saving and good luck to everyone else. SS.
  • The invite I got said that there is a specific part of the store set aside for Premium card holders for drinks and mince pies. I got the 20% off.

Is it if you are a premium club you get the £5 off but only 20% off tins etc but are a cardholder you don't get the £5 voucher but get 50%?

Again with the premium club going up to £15 per month is it really worth it? We don't take advantage of the travel insurance.
  • Ive found there is no rhyme nor reason as to who gets what with the Marks vouchers/invites and it doesn't matter if you are a premium card holder, credit card holder or a store card holder. My local store invite says special area set aside for ALL card holders, the last time there was a similar invite my friend who has a store card got the invite and the £5 voucher but I didn't as a credit card holder. This time we both got the invite with the £5 and I got the 50% off cans voucher but she didn't. I'll use the 50% off voucher for the crisps and nuts if nothing else :)

I personally don't think the premium card is worth it unless you can use the travel insurance.
