M&S card - voucher 50% off jars, tins etc

This may not apply to all holders of an M&S card - but i got a mailing yesterday with my money off vouchers from points earned, plus usual vouchers for extra points, and also a voucher for 50% off M&S brand tea, coffee, and jars and tins of food. This is a pretty good offer as it stands, but also has a glitch (!) whereby anything on B1G1F or 3for2 it takes the 50% saving off FIRST - eg at the moment they have got Christmas jams and marmalades and mincemeat on 342, and mustards and some pickles on B1G1F. Their canned steak and kidney is superb, normal price 2.45 per tin, so a great price at 50% off. HTH. SS. PS - be warned, i tried first putting my stuff thru with a meal deal and the till said no, after a lot of faffing about they did all the tins and jars separately first, and then the coupon took the 50% off .

I got one but it was only for 20% off, I wonder how they work this out? Do you have a premium card?

I never got any discount vouchers, although I did get £5 voucher for a christmas shopping evening. I am a premium club member too.

I got the 50% off but it is only valid after the 20th of November. My husband only got 20% off but he tends to use his card more. None of us are premium card holders. Also, our £5 each for the Christmas event is not at our local M&S (a large store), but instead at one nearly 30 minutes away. Crazy !!

I am puzzled though as my 50% off voucher is not valid until the 20th November.... so maybe everyone has different dates and different %'s????
By the way, I am not a premium club member.

Hmmmm I am a premium card holder and received the 20% off tins but did not receive the £5 off and invitation! The other vouchers I got were just 4 point per pound which basically just gives me 1 extra point, I am beginning to wonder if this premium card is worth it!
This has really made me question how they work this, is it a lottery, is it your spend pattern? I think I may give them a call on Monday and ask them!

My mam got the £5 off voucher but she will not be near M&S when this needs to be used by so does anyone know if i would be able to spend it for her without having her M&S card with me?

My coupon is for 20% canned foods etc and is dated Nov20 to 19 Dec. I also got the £5, an invitation to a store miles away and earn 4 points per £1. I am a Premium Club member.
Any chance startedsaving got the date of the voucher wrong?

I have a m&s credit card, is there another type? I got my reward vouchers and the usual 5xpoints on various things and dates, but no invite or discount on tins and jars?
