Ha ha I love it... genuine PC World / Currys customers will now be made to feel like criminals because PC World / Currys staff are too incompetent to consider that they may need to put a minimum spend on the vouchers....
Just another reason to NEVER shop at any DSGi store...0 -

IP addresses are also recorded and checked and if someone is found to be abusing the system then the appropriate authorizes will be notified.
We are now in the process of amending the t&c for the £5 prizes due to people abusing the system, all vouchers will now be sent via email within 7 workings days with the amended t&c once the prizes is verified as genuine.
IF YOU ARE A GENUINE PCW STAFF - YOU BETTER GET YOUR HR TO LOOK INTO WHAT YOU ARE GOING TO STATE/PRINT - WE THE CONSUMER HAVE THE RIGHT TO ASK PCW WHAT INFORMATION YOU WITHELD FROM US UNDER DATA PROTECTION! And you are oblidge to provide us the information.
For those of you who has the "original" vouchers which states - 1 per transaction - you have the right to collect/buy the item under their terms. Fair enough they specified 1 per household on the catalogue page BUT not on the initial voucher. If they refused your voucher you can report them to trading standard for misleading customer.
I know another site - boasting that they amended the clause on the voucher - which to me it wrong - but I am talking about the genuine vouchers that we printed originally.
I bought 17 items that cost £10 or more on each items - and I paid bet. £4ish to £5ish/per item ( cartridges which I normally pay on behalf of the company I work for - when I have vouchers to use for the likes of Tesco or any online shopping) and that was before they keep changing their day to day T&C whether something gone wrong!
My initial vouchers was 1 per transaction. After that pcw/curry gone downhill!!!! Like the rest of you I won't set my foot at their stores ( due to their extortion prices).
Dear Mod, This site is very slow......today & yesterday evening it was worse...RIP my dear dear parent : Mum aged 62 (17/5/1990) & Dad aged 89 (23/1/2012)0 -
I have given all my printable vouchers which states "1 per household" to good homes
.
I still have 3 more unprintable codes and if any of you would like to use it. Pm me & I'll forward it to you.
PLEASE NOTE : THESE CODES ARE NOT VALID FOR "CLAIRE-PCW & HER ASSOC.," SO DON'T PM ME!
Your MSE user name will be vetted before I can send the code(s) to you - this is so that ppl like Claire-pcw will not get it! And as for data protection I have none cos' I don't own a company!:rotfl:I am just a small fly....;)RIP my dear dear parent : Mum aged 62 (17/5/1990) & Dad aged 89 (23/1/2012)0 -
Collecting IP address is not a big deal. Most websites do that (including MSE). They do it for various purposes.
There can be several applications from a single address if employees in a large company logs from their office network.
However, I think Dixons Group should have behaved in more professional way. They lured customers saying £15million give away and now playing tricks.
Probably they under estimated the power of MSE forumHappiness is buying an item and then not checking its price after a month to discover it was reduced further.0 -

Great wind up !!:rotfl:
Our 'genuine' PCW rep also posted another entry on the 'Quick - Grabbit while you can' forum at https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/comment/38717716#Comment_38717716, where she advises that her email address is claire.adams@pcworld.co.uk.
Trouble is that no such email address exists. Just tried it and got a delivery failure back.
I suppose that everyone has their own sense of humour !!0 -

We’re sorry, but all additional entries received have been invalidated. This includes any £5 vouchers that have not been used to date.
