Yes, Catalogues disappeared from our local store too. Seems they have just changed the way the prizes are issued. When you input your details they now send your prize voucher to your email address. I guess its to stop people inputting false details but you can still get one prize per household / email which is great!0

Except everyone is still waiting for their email with the voucher0 -
I trawled around PC World yesterday to see if I could find anything I wanted, but their prices seemed sky-high! The only thing that appealed was their ReCyKo AA batteries at £10.99 for 4, so with my voucher I'd pay £5.99. But they are only £6.22 on Amazon normally, making my £5 voucher really only worth 23p! Then I thought I'd get an SD memory card, but the *cheapest* ones they sell are £12.99, despite Amazon having some for £5 and under in various capacities. I reckon I'd pay *at least* £5 more to buy from PCWorld.
Looks like a bit of a scam to me, and reminds me why I rarely if ever buy anything from PC World. [No Currys near me, alas, which would at least have offered more options.]0 -
Just to make people aware, all customers who won prizes which need to be sent via email or to a home address who have used more then one coupon will not get any prizes.
IP addresses are also recorded and checked and if someone is found to be abusing the system then the appropriate authorizes will be notified.
We are now in the process of amending the t&c for the £5 prizes due to people abusing the system, all vouchers will now be sent via email within 7 workings days with the amended t&c once the prizes is verified as genuine.0 -

What does this mean? Is this an official announcement from PCworld, and if it is, maybe they should have grammar checked it first.
Are you going to start reporting people to the internet?
How will you deal with multiple people entering different codes in an organisation that has thousands of users sharing the same IP address? Will they be labelled criminals and embarrassed in store with a rejected voucher?0 -

Absolutely shocking grammar, but then again, it's probably to be expected, have you seen the halfwits that one has to deal with in those stores?

Funny! Make sure you get someone to manually watch all the CCTV camera for all the stores and actually collect some evidence.
But then you will have spent more then its worth, as we both know everything in your stores are extremely overpriced. Even at minimum wage you can never hope to recover enough loss.0 -
I've been to Currys this morning and picked up a currys own brand hand mixer for £4.18 and a packet of batteries, used voucher and it came to under a £1. First time for me to use a voucher and was alittle nervous! The sales assistant was absolutely fine about it.:j0
