Good point and thanks for reminding me.
I would suggest then PCW have found all the email addresses, which have utilised the same postal address (and maybe same name as well) to get multiple vouchers and they have then sent them the message :
'Hi
Thanks for entering the Currys and PC World £15million giveaway.
Please remember our terms and conditions only allow one £5 voucher per household.
We’re sorry, but all additional entries received have been invalidated. This includes any £5 vouchers that have not been used to date.
Yours sincerely,

Currys and PC World'
otherwise I don't see why and how some people have got this message and others haven't. I can't believe that they have just emailed this message randomly; although I know that we are talking about PCW and so nothing would surprise me!
I would still suggest that anyone, who has got this message and still has unused vouchers, to try them at you PCW store and see what happens. It wouldn't surprise me if they have been blacklisted and will be rejected. However, it is still worth a go.:)0 -
I assume that PC World and Currys read this thread0

EXACTLY !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
:eek::eek::eek:0 -
surely any vouchers printed out at the start of this promotion that havn't been used can't be blacklisted.
My voucher tells me "well done for winning a £5 voucher". It has its T & C's printed and I intend to hold onto it closer to christmas to use.
If it was refused can we report them to trading standards? ps. I also live in a shared student household so we all use the same connection lolNeed a new start..wheres good to live in the UK?!0 -
Some people (like me) can't get hold of gift guides to get one voucher because other people have been abusing the offer so they've been removed from stores.
The offer is one per household. I agree that isn't fair as some people have bigger households than others. For students if they are on different tenancy agreements then they are strictly different addresses and their full address should be something like: Room 5, 12 Street Name, the same way that if the downstairs of a house is rented as one flat and the upstairs as another flat, despite student accommodation having communal areas.0 -
I used vouchers in both pc world and currys in sheffield last night with no problem the brochures were in piles through out the store with no one guarding them staff in both shops were great0

Not only in Sheffield !
Went to my local PCW/Currys megastore this lunch time and they had a big stack of them inside the entrance to the store. No staff were guarding them and you could help yourself.
There were also a few at the tills next to the exit, which nobody was guarding either.:)0 -

Depends on whether PCW are actually blacklisting vouchers and what criteria they are using. I'm sure posters will advise on this forum whether their vouchers are being accepted or rejected.
My guess is that they will blacklist vouchers, where people have specified the same household address in different email addresses to get vouchers.
I suggest that you speak to your student house mates to see whether any of them have got the email message to advise the additional vouchers have been invalidated. From what I can ascertain, the email message only goes to the 1st email address that specified the household address and he/her will only get it if he/she used a real email address. If one of them confirms that they have got the email, I'm afraid that you will be out of luck.0 -

May work. Trouble is that it is very easy to abuse by people using this for their property; so I would be surprised if PCW allowed this.:)0
