  • If it was refused can we report them to trading standards? ps. I also live in a shared student household so we all use the same connection lol

Forgot to advise that you could report PCW to Trading Standards but I don't think that you will get anywhere. PCW T&C's clearly state that the voucher offer is limited to just one per household. It is just tough for you living at shared student accomodation.:)
  • I assume that PC World and Currys read this thread

I am sure that they are !:rotfl:
  • I picked up a couple of magazines when walking past in a shopping centre.

Went to redeem my voucher and they were behind the tills at that place being handed out one by one.

I was in another, and there wasn't one to be seen even behind the tills.

walked past where i originally got them from and they were not there anymore.

Si, in my area it looks as though they have taken action to stop being getting bucket loads.
I get what i want. That isn't because i'm a brat or spoilt. It's because i'm determined, i work hard for it and i achieve my goals!
  • I challenged couponnet (?) about the limit on ip addresses, explaining that i live in a multi shared household..i got several vouchers sent out to me..well to each household member.

Just loked, all our vouchers say one voucher per transaction so we shall all be using our vouchers..deciding if the house needs a telephone or hand blender more lol

I think some companies need to consider student shared housing etc or shared housing full stop. It makes it a bit unfair (well unfair on my housemates as im the mse'r) lol

however, as all these vouchers seem to have different/changing T & C's im pretty sure the store has to value whatever the voucher states as there is nowhere that says subject to change.

personally i havnt jumped on this promotion as i dont have time to go stalk out stores in my balaclava for gift guides lol good luck using vouchers everyone x
Need a new start..wheres good to live in the UK?!

I've still got my voucher from when the promotion started, haven't managed to get to a Currys yet. Am I still able to use it? If so, do you think it's possible to reserve the item online to pay instore using the voucher?

They haven't been removed from stores.

They have from some stores and if you ask any staff if they have a gift guide (not mentioning the £5 offer) they say "those are long gone."

May work. Trouble is that it is very easy to abuse by people using this for their property; so I would be surprised if PCW allowed this.:)

TV licensing insist that if a TV is used in a room that has a seperate lease that they require a seperate TV licence, so some students will have a TV licence with a room number to prove it. It's also easy to find out which areas are predominately student houses.

A Curry's & PC World Gift Guide just came through my letter box...
Never mash cheese: it bends the fork.
  • Tried using mine earlier.. for £5.00 off a £15.00 iPhone case. Hadn't used the voucher before, but the SA said it was invalid. She went to ask her manager, apparently he said they've deactivated any vouchers that have been issued to people who made multiple entries.

Whatever happens people, don't take it out on shop floor staff.. they're not the ones at fault. The girl who served me was lovely and really apologetic.
