Heard nothing from John Lewis or Betty Crocker but I had a phone call today from Tefal saying as a goodwill gesture for mixing up my details with another applicant they will be sending me the mixes as they have just had some delivered into their warehouse. How many turn up is another matter, will let you know what if anything appears.0

So rumour of some/all? getting one quarter of what they were expecting? I have not received any letter or 15% voucher from Tefal yet.
I have as yet not recieved my cake mixes and i had a call to say id get the 15 % of code, that hasnt arrived yet, but it wasnt guaranteed that we would all get the mixes, so i guess we will just have to wait and see:o0 -
Does anyone have a direct email address for John Lewis customer services? I have used the online form which promises a 24 hour reply - no response, waiting since Friday ....0

I seem to have missed the updates. Was "somewhat annoyed" to receive the follwoing by email just now :Dear customer

I've just had the email too , saying i'll get 6 cake mixes in the next 15 days and also a 15% voucher is attached to the e-mail. Better than nothing I guess , as I have already had my refund from john lewis so for the £3 p+p i've got a tin and 6 cake mixes so can't grumble. Still a big balls up by tefal , i certainly won't be buying anymore of their overpriced bakeware!0

What was the Subject line on peoples email?
Mine was "competition" - so much for this being a straight forward promotion.
Well done to those who got a refund - us Waitrosers have still paid over the odds for cake tins we wouldn't have bought.0 -
Looks like it's time to ask for a refund. sigh.0

I've had the 6-packs e-mail too. Ocado's price for the B Crocker Brownie mixes is £1.29, so that's worth £7.74 - still leaves me having paid £8.76 for the baking tin (as I don't think I'll be rushing to use the 15% voucher!).
I think its possible this was a massive screw-up - some marketing intern exceeding their authority & thinking they were being clever. I also think its possible John Lewis & Waitrose responded to our e-mails by suggesting Tefal stop annoying their customers & get this sorted out sharpish.
I know its not full satisfaction - we've still paid a lot for a cake tin - but I do think it's consumer revenge. We've responded rather than accepting the con, & Tefal have been caused enough bother that they'll not try anything like this again.
I'd be interested to know if anyone gets a refund from Waitrose.0
