  • Morning ladies

RBL - you sound like me - fretting over stuff like that - youre allowed to be lazy - my advice is to contact her asap and explain your not feeling great and arrange to meet another time.

Labour vibes to Chakani and Giz (and anyone else I've missed)

Apricot - hope you have a fab weekend away - re the hot tub I thought that the advice was to avoid completely as they can raise your temperature and risk premature labour - to be honest I feel ill in hot tubs and saunas even when not pregnant :o

Think I am going to call my midwife and leave her a message re the MATB1 form as I'm not seeing her until 28 weeks (I'm coming up for 19 weeks now) and HR definately say they need the form by 25 weeks so unless it is posted out routinely I can't see how I can get it by then.

Thanks for the advice re: the hot tub - I think I will check the actual temperature of the thing and see if I can lower it and then maybe use it for 5 minutes at a time.

    Happy due date Giz
Good luck flower for your induction today!
RBG Have a nice rest today - don't feel like you HAVE to go out.

The only other thing I can think of is scampi fries nomnomnom!

It must have been a good night for sleeping last night as I slept all the way through from 10:30 to 06:00 and didn't even wake for a pee:j

GB - Def get hold of your MW as you will need MatB1 for your employer. 28 weeks seems a long time for the next appt, I'm sure I had one around 23 or 24 weeks.

Apricot - You could also just sit on the side and dangle your legs in the hot tub, that worked quite nice as well, so you're not fully immersed. But I must admit I do like a nice jacuzzi :D

    Yes! Bring it on

Growing vibes please ladies! I have a growth scan tomorrow and I'm not optimistic, midwife measured me yesterday 3 times and I'm only 30cm instead of 33cm:eek: and I really don't seem any bigger than my last scan at 29 weeks

I am thinking this - I saw her at 16 weeks and she said the next one wasn't till 28 weeks and she would take the bloods for the anti d (this is my 3rd pregnancy and I've had no particular probs in the past so am hoping that's why the large gap in appts)
I am seeing my consultant after my 20 week scan on 16th Feb but the midwife commented on this and asked why he wanted to see me like it was unusual - I said I didn't know (perhaps to give me date/book in for elective section?)
Either way will give her a call as I'll have to get hold of the MATB1 either way before my scheduled 28 week appointment ;)

I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it.
