MI3 - Ew ew ew!! Midwife never checked my pads last time around, thankgod, maybe its different for different areas. Think my biggest clot was about the size of 50p, mine just tended to plop out when I went to the loo. Ha ha, I dont even care that Im making this public knowledge.
Cant remember how long I bled for, had stiches as DD came out waving, was defo tender for a few days lol. Word of warning, for the first 24hrs after birth you may have to double up on towels, it gets messy! Hmm, not looking forward to all that lot again, although one bonus that no-one told me about, how horny you get about 3 wks after birth, bloody fab! xSealed Pot Challenge Member 151

I could never sit down with a maternity pad on, too bulky and too much pressure on that area.0

@Ash - this is Twiggy and Eeyore who we rescued about 5 years ago (Twiggy is up-earred at the back):
Sadly Eeyore died a year later, so we got Gizmo to bond with Twiggy but it never worked out so now they live separatelyUnfortunately due to Twiggy having pasteurella we couldn't try bonding her with other rabbits at the rehoming center, we had to take the gamble with Gizmo and they just fight
What bunnies do you have? I can't wait for Gizmo to meet the baby. I don't think Twiggy will be too fussed as she's a little madam and not a people person.

Cute rabbits Giz! im not much of a rabbit person myself but my bff (lol, i sound 15 not 27) has 2 and is obsessed by them lol.
Re: maternity pads, I wore them for about 2 days I think then switched to night time ones.Sealed Pot Challenge Member 151

Latest bump pics.
The 29 week bump is very brown have you been away? (sorry you may have said before)
Well I bled heavily and for along time with DD (not common by the way) I was kept in for 4 days due to small baby and lack of water etc nothing to do with me, and I went through at least 50-60 pads. The first 2 days I was changing every hour, and quickly ran out of my own so had to use hospital issue ones:eek: they were about 3 inches thick and really rough. My friend on the other hand had an emergency csec and was also in 4 days and she only used about 20. I would advise taking in at least 20 and having a DH prepared to buy more for you if necessary (mine was not:()AKA: PC

:j:j:j:j so glad you went for the Zoom - glad to be of some helpIs it weird to start getting MS now at 16 weeks? I can't seem to shake feeling bleuggh but I am feverish too so might be coming dwn with something I guess. Early night me thinks.
I went through a period of having a bit of ms between 15 - 17 weeks even though it had died down before that. It wasn't as bad as when I had it earlier in my pregnancy though and was much more manageablehope it eases for you again soon.

Fanta, love the pram!
Scan tomorrowI'm so excited, byt still quite nervous in case anything is wrong, really hoping wriggle isn't modest, really want to know if I ahold paint the nursery pink or blue
I think wriggle is excited we get to see her, moving like a mad thing to the point I'm asking 'what are you doing child' and OH thinks I'm a bit nuts!
Going pushchair and furniture shopping with OH afterwards, love the m&p sola but going to check out the zoom as well (not deliberately copying you dusty, had my eye on the sola for a while but the zoom's so similar would be silly not to try it!)
Thanks for the birth stories, I am amazed how some of you coped so well with so much.
Twoflower, my thoughts are with you, seems like you have good advice, so cute your DS cuddling bump. Hope your friends helped today xx0 -
Oh and meant to say ew ew about pads and checking them, didn't know half this stuff before getting pg (prob a good thing!)0

Right, time to get out of jammies, get some breakfast and head to Tesco to exchange my vouchers...getting the Angel monitor thingie with them but I ordered the vouchers on-line last lot I got and they were so slow I thought things were going to go out of stock.
Just wondered if you managed to get the Angel monitor and how much it was ...was thinking of doubling my points up and getting this also.
Our Tesco is a good drive away, but I am sure when I saw it a couple of weeks back it was £10 cheaper than Tesco Direct...but there again it could be my dodgy eyesight !
If it is £10 cheaper I will be able to get it because I will have £70 worth of points.0
