Think of all those babies existing on a diet of curry for example.
LOL just the opposite of what I said! I suppose these babies are used to curries from day 1 though?
Everyone and every baby is different some babies might not be affected by anything while others are."That's no reason to cry. One cries because one is sad. For example, I cry because others are stupid, and that makes me sad."0 -
Getting the stitch involved stirrups and a wee male doctor 2 inches from my bits
it was more painful than the birth!
Was also far more painfull than labour and I was sobbing like a baby into the gas and air while the registrar was threatening to take me to theatre
I was also really paranoid I'd tear again with DD2 and my Mum telling me it was like perforated paper and I'd just go along the same line really didn't help... When it came down to it though, DD2 shot out at great speed and I just got a couple of small grazes in a completely different place to where the first stitches were :cool:Can someone tell me if this is true? I was told by a friend that you shouldn't eat fruit (at the start at least) if you are breast feeding. That the acid gives the baby bad stomach pains.A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Oh that's good to know, I kind of thought I might tear again in the same place
Does anyone else still feel the original tear spot?"That's no reason to cry. One cries because one is sad. For example, I cry because others are stupid, and that makes me sad."0 -
Just lost a long post!
Thanks Teenie, GFH & Krystal. My sister BF her 2 youngest until they were 12 months and said she ate the same as she always did. Her HV told her to avoid curry and she asked her what BF mothers in India ate and that shut her up.
I was feeling totally fine about being overdue until this morning and DH got a text from a work colleague who was due yesterday and she had her baby overnight. I felt like it wasn't fair that I was 8 days overdue and she had her baby on her due date. I know it's silly, but I felt like crying. I just want the labour to be over now and would have prefered it to just happen, so I didn't have time to worry about it. Now I'm booked in to be induced in less than 2 days and am just thinking about it.0 -
Aw CL it's natural that you feel like that. My wish this time is that I go myself but if it doesn't happen that way then that's just what happens. You don't have long to wait now hun and by the end of the week you will finally get to meet your baby"That's no reason to cry. One cries because one is sad. Thanks Teenie. On a more cheerful note I was in Matalan last week and they have the cutest Christmas Sleepsuits. I don't normally go in for that sort of stuff. I really love Christmas, but like it to be very traditional (real tree, no tinsel, holly inside, open fire & nice smells of spices), but I don't think i can resist getting these!0

Go for it! My sister bought DD a christmas sleepsuit for her first Christmas and she was adorable. My sister gave it to us before Christmas so we took a photo and DH's boss made up little cards with her photo on it and we put it in our Christmas cards."That's no reason to cry. I want to come to your house!:heart2:Baby boy due 4th March 2011:heart2:0 -
Oh I feel really guilty now about being jealous of DH's work friend having her baby before me. She had told him she wanted a MW led water birth with only gas & air and intended being home 6 hours after the birth. He got to work and found out that she ended up having an emergency section under GA. Poor girl.0
