Due March I worried I wouldn't love DD1 as much as the dog!!!

:rotfl:Im glad you said that though as I was saying to OH the other night that the cats are going to feel "pushed out" so we'd have to be extra nice to them now!

Not if I can help it! To be honest I was on the search before I found out I was pregnant and I was actually offered a job on Christmas Eve but as I wouldn't be elligable for Maternity Pay I decided not to take it and to look for something else whilst Im off.:D

My only worry is that she will mess me around with my pay but I have spoken to our head accountant who has told me to go to her if she tries anything and she will try to sort it out!

lol! :rotfl:don't blame you! - she sounds horrendous - hope she doesn't try anything with your pay - sounds very dodgy!

Well done Apricot! At least she knows now... Even if she could have been politer!

Chakani, I can feel mine popping in and out too... Sometimes, for a second it grinds right down on my cervix, enough to make me suck in a breath anyway! And then it pops right out again and floats around... I'm clinging to tiny hope that this one will not be late...

Had my shower, feel very much cleaner... Tried to tidy up the undergrowth but I imagine it looks like it's been hacked at with a weed whacker... I don't care... I don't have to look at it... I'm contemplating dyeing my haor tonight... I got a freebie mousse from John Frieda on facebook that's been sitting there for months... I thought I could dye it now, see if I can book in a mobile hairdresser next week... And then at least my hair won't look quite so crap on the photos...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

  • In the meantime, I am going to make a cup of tea, and allow myself half an hour to feel miserable, then I'm going to get the sewing machine out and make some pretty new covers for my moses basket, and make the most of DS being at nursery.

Ooh talking of sewing machines! I got one for christmas and havent had it out of the box. Ive always wanted one and now I have one I dont know how to set it up! I used one years ago in school but that was with the teacher to help set up haha. Anyone know of any good places to look for advice on just getting started? :D

I know - the annoying thing is, I can feel it popping in and out, and all the exercises are to do with opening the hips - I can still bite my toenails if I ever felt the need :rotfl: so no problems there.

Sewing cushion covers is dead easy - you can do them like pillowcases so they just overlap rather than messing about with zips and things - there is a sewing thread somewhere on here where there are loads of keen beans - or you could just sew or stick felt onto plain cushions to make them match whatever decorating you're doing? Google Wee Folk Art - they have lots of free patch patterns that you can copy, and they need virtually no skill whatsoever.

I'll go and find this thread, could really use some cushions on that chair, or i'll have a numb bum

Don't look at me... Hubby bought me one last year and it's been sat on the shelf 12 months :o

I had the same thoughts and got someone to come and do my colour and cut last week in anticipation of not looking so ropey in the post-birth photos.
