Morning Lady bumps

Am pleased to report a night's sleep (sorry Apricot hunni, hope you managed to get some sleep in the end) had a couple of the compulsory loo trips but managed to get over again quickly. Carpal tunnel is playing up again today but have plans to head into work this morning for one of my colleague's leaving tea.....might even go out tonight dependent on how shattered I am later lol......have a busy weekend planned so don't want to tire myself out hehe

Hope we all have a good day and that my fellow insomniacs managed some sleep too

I had a broken sleep. Everytime I went to turn over I was in pain. It was the muscles on both sides of my bikini line. I remembered what was said the other day about keeping my legs shut, and that seemed to help. Got up this morning and feel ok though, a bit stiff all over but no pelvic pain. I hope it's just that ive over done the walking this week as OH has had to take my car.
My pedometer says I've walked over 3 miles each day. That's just doing the school and nursery run. Were supposed to be going a forest and castle walk tomorrow, I might have to stay in the car.

@hngrymummy - it could just be your body clearing out. In the last 2 weeks I've had the odd vomit session at night and diawoo. Keep trying to drink more in the mean time as the most important thing if it is a gastro problem is staying hydrated.

I totally overdid things yesterday. Met up for lunch with colleagues then went out for dinner in the evening. A long car journey combined with more walking than normal left me in a lot of pain last night. Consequently didn't get a lot of sleep. Woke up with severe heartburn, so sat up in bed for a few hours paranoid about being sick.

Then early this morning I got this terrible pain in my ribs area and back (like all the way up my back and through the shoulder blades). I managed to breathe through it and relax. I wonder if baby was on a nerve or something? Hope it wasn't a BH. Far to painful for my liking.

So 39+2 and counting down the days.

Today is going to be a long one as I plan on doing nothing due to the pelvic pain.

@MI3 - I so hope you are getting cuddles right now. I logged on last night especially and was sad to see your message.

Just to let you know I have queue jumped slightly. Our son, Monty, was born a healthy 7.0lb at 00:28 on the 26th January (got home yesterday) after a marathon 73 hour labour :eek:. It's the hardest thing I've ever had to do but worth it all now. He is perfect in every way. I'll post a birth story and some pics in the next few days.

Apologies I wasn't able to contribute more with the thread towards the end of my preg but did lurk regularly and you were a constant support.

All the best for the rest of your pregnancies, births and beyond. It really is the most wonderful feeling in the world (eventually lol) :j.

Thanks all. Just had a little cry over your kind words

Dh came downstairs about half 7 (he's supposed to leave for work at 7:20) having just got out of the shower. He said it was horrible to wake up with me not there. I told him that I thought it was best not to disturb him every half hour to go to the loo so came downstairs.

Had another half hour nap, and am now sucking on ice cubes till the Dr is open so I can call for advice. Delerium seems to have passed - I was rambling to myself when I first came downstairs.

TMI alert...
Norovirus includes watery diawoo. 'Watery' has nothing on what I was producing :eek:

Bother, ice cubes have run out, got to wait for some more to freeze

Hope you are all feeling ok today. I think I'll probably fail to finish the painting today.

Sproglet is having a wriggle, which I'm relieved about.

MW's yesterday who confirmed I have got SPD, roll on 5 weeks (:beer: RBG) can't carry on walking the streets, grabbing my crotch oohing and aahing!! :D

I've given up on the lady garden. Now and again I go at it blind with the razor, hoping for the best, probably looks like a nice cockerel topiary down there!!
