Are bump bands any good? My trousers are getting tighter by the day but not sure im ready for full on maternity trousers yet!
I love my bump bands. They mean that it doesn't get draughty when my t-shirt won't tuck in to my trousers any more!
Congratulations Iwcus :j
DH is upstairs sanding walls (in exchange for ice cream later) so tomorrow I can finish painting the woodwork without risking getting dust in the paint. Saturday we start puting up the lining paper. Then next week I paint the ceiling and we put the wallpaper up. ARE YOU LISTENING SPROGLET?? YOU'RE TO STAY PUT FOR ANOTHER WEEK.
What does protein in wee mean? I have a trace of it from my last test.If having different experiences, thoughts and ideas to you, or having an opinion that you don't understand, makes me a troll, then I am proud to be a 100% crying, talking, sleeping, walking, living Troll. :hello:0 -
I've just shaved my legs and cut my toe nails....:j

Just a quickie from me today, absolutely exhausted DD was being a little monkey last night so never got much sleep. Have had a super busy day at work too so going to bed in a mo.
Congratulations lwcus!
Glad everything is ok(ish) Charlie, have a nice rest tomorrow.
Will hopefully catch up better tomorrow. xx"That's no reason to cry. One cries because one is sad. For example, I cry because others are stupid, and that makes me sad."0 -
hngrymummy - just read this about protein in wee:
Low amounts of protein are not uncommon, and may simply mean that your kidneys are working harder than before pregnancy. Your body may be fighting a minor infection, and your midwife may send your urine sample for analysis, to establish whether you have a urinary tract infection (UTI), and of what type. You may need to take antibiotics to clear the infection.0 -

Charlie - Good to see you home. Make sure you rest up now!
Dusty - I would love to cut my toenails but can't reachI tried hinting to DH earlier to see if he would offer but he didn't. I think he draws the line at doing up my shoes for me :rotfl:

Blood pressure is very low and with lack of sleep i'm basically just tired (just a tad!) and apparently dehydrated. The Dr at the hospital said I could come home and if there were problems with my results (bloods and urine) they will call me to go back up. Glad to get back. Left at 1pm to go to docs then they sent me up the hospital and I suddenly lost 7 hours of my day.
Bubs is fine though so that's all that matters! I have been 'ordered' by my bosses to take the day off tomorrow so I can rest some more. So there is that too.
Be nice to relax a bit whilst the kids are at school!
Glad you're OK Charlie, I also have low blood pressure. Just take it easy as much as you can hun, and don't do anything tomorrow! xxRockinbikergal wrote: »Dusty I did a bit of shaving the other night too but I think i might have gone a bit too far 'down there' lmao (sorry for tmi, hehe) I was using a mirror and got a bit carried away hehe but at the same time it feels sooooooo much better than it did hehe
I found it hard to do my lady bits last time and mentioned to OH he may need to help me out. Think he got a bit excited by this :rotfl: It gets so difficult to see what you're doing over the bump :rotfl:0 -
Thanks Wendz. Nothing elee was mentioned at the appointment so I'm guessing it's nothing serious. I'll wait and see what turns up in my wee on Wednesday
*gratefully accepts sticky vibes from RGB*
Appologies if this appears twice, my computer just went a bit odd.If having different experiences, thoughts and ideas to you, or having an opinion that you don't understand, makes me a troll, then I am proud to be a 100% crying, talking, sleeping, walking, living Troll. :hello:0 -
Are you planning a home birth too?
I used a tens machine last time, but have decided to try the water this time instead.
I think the bath would be fine if you can get your lower back and bump under the water - when I last talked to my MW, she said that if you can get your bottom and lower back under water, then it will help. I struggle to get under the water enough, but I am fairly tall and our bath is smaller than average.
Yes, i'm down for an home birth too, in a weird way i'm looking forward to it  I'm only small and so can lie down in our bath, so it might just do the job..... Thanks for the advice :T
Got bad lower back ache again tonight, gonna call it a day and snuggle up with my pillows....
Night all, hope you can all get some rest tonight :grouphug:Challenges - repay all credit cards by end of 2015Starting the savings for retirement :rotfl:
