Wow - this thread moves so fast!!!!

Had my mw appointment yesterday and babies head has started to engage. Walking is getting quite painful now...bones feel like they are about to split :( Last day in work tomorrow though (for 12 months) so I can't wait :j

Hairdressers and dentist appointments are booked for next week. Making the most of the time left. I'm just hoping that this nesting business kicks in soon now, otherwise I could end up watching a lot of day time TV :rotfl:

PC - ha ha...loving your dream!

RBG, Just had a look at your pram. Its great , Im well jealous. Just been on kiddicare and watched the video for my buzz and you need to actually lift the seat out and click into the front or rear position. So it needs to be set in the position I want before I leave. Bit of a pain , but its only been used twice and it came with all the accesories and I only had to get carrycot so was too good a offer to refuse. Maybe for baby number two ....... Lol
Thanks to MSE for making it possible for me save to buy my new flat , yay !!

Where did you get it from?? Do you have a link handy please??? Still in two minds as to whether to get one, but need to get one ordered if you know what I mean??

I was very un-MSE and didn't shop around. I needed to order one asap as my EDD is so close and knew that Mothercare did them, so we just went in to the shop and did it over the counter. You can also do it online I think. Ordered Saturday, arrived yesterday, which is pretty good. Didn't even need to sign for it so I didn't have to be in.

Lablover my friend has a Buzz and loves it - however Im sure it will only fold when front facing? (I might have made it up so you might want to check)

I have no idea what pram Ill be getting - my boot is quite small (Fiesta) so I need something that goes in there easily as I use the car so much I don't want to have one that's a PITA to fit in! I love the Stokke's but they are so expensive and quite big when folded too!

The buzz folds small ,and its easy to take the front wheel off. My friend had one and she drove a KA , no Apricot your exactly right about it folding . Gold star , lol . The thing that swung it for me other than the bargain was that the maxi cosi just clips into it , and I work in the motor trade and would recomend the maxi cosi

Dont get me started on the washing basket, I never get caught up because OH wears things for 5 mins and sticks in the basket.

Take them out, fold them up nicely and give them back to him;)

Pixie , thats why Ive got the quinny Buzz because bubs can either face me or face out.Because I think I would want to be watching bubs at the start

And me, who was asking about changing the way it faces??

I think you just push down the clips at the sides and lift the seat off, then clip it in the other way round.

Thanks grateful , Ive been on kiddicare and watched the video on how to do it. I was hoping it would be a flip the handle job, only for laziness ,lol

That reminds me, he has a habbit of saying "Oh, the washing basket is getting full". I pointed out to him that I have never said this to him, when I notice I just take stuff out and wash it... men!!

I'm the other way. Washing clothes is about the only thing I can manager right now, so I insist that I do it (plus he's already ruined one of my hand-wash mohair jumpers by sticking on a normal wash in the mashine, put 1 pink sock and a pair of white knickers in with a black wash etc). If he touches the washing basket or offers to help I just glare until he stops :D

Just got back from lunch in town (I'm gadding about quite a lot this week) and decided that I could manage the walk back. Am exhausted now :(, so sitting down for a bit of rubbish tv before doing a little houseowrk

Can't remember who posted the nappy link, but thanks :D going to have a peek now as I want to go with reusables but have no idea which ones.

    Hi girls,
Just a quick message to say little Hanna was born 22nd Jan weighing 6lbs 1oz after being induced. Labour was quick and painful but can honestly say I can no longer remember the pain. Thanks for all your support.
I'll be back to check who else has given birth and how everyone is once I have a moment.
    xxx
