Does anybody know what it means if you buy a buggy that's 'reworked'? :S
ETA - Don't worry, I was being a wally. It's explained.
I'm thinking of going for it as a reworked one is only £61!A-Z Challenge: ABCDEFGHIJKLMNOPQRSTUVWXYZ

it may be one thats been handed back into a shop for a minor repair and they are selling it on. ie reconditioned.
There was a shop on ebay that sold loads of re conditoned ones, I bought one and it was fine. Just that something small had been wrong and the person had got the refund, so they were selling it cheaper.
I think thats what it means anyway.:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0 -

Is that the same one thats £150? if it is that sounds fab. As long as you get the same guarantee with it as you would if it was brand new. Can I ask what site is it? I may have a look for a cheap stroller as my Maclaren is on its last wheels.:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0 -
MI3- sending good labour vibes your way, hope it speeds up!
My OH can be good with housework but can also have days off and not do anything which drives me mad. I also get the has this been washed question? It's like they think a fairy did it haha.
Midwife appointment this afternoon, hope all is OK.0 -
Lablover - is funny how people who never really spoke to you before chat to you when you are pregnant. I have all the Mum's at work talking to me now lol.0

I don't think you get the warranty but they say that the safety or function of the product is not affected. And yes it's the same one! The reviews are good on it too so I guess they're okay.

Thanks for that Lablover I think I am overthinking the situation. Boss has actually gone to the dentist at the moment so not sure if she will be back before I leave but if she is and I can work up the courage I will tell her today.
I seem to spend all my days in work now looking at baby things - lucky it's not monitered!:happylove DD July 2011:happyloveAug 13 [STRIKE]£4235.19[/STRIKE] £2550.00 :cool:0 -
My carrycot arrived at my mums yesterday.Want to go and play with it but they are away this weekend so will have to wait , lol. I have the clips to clip maxi cosy car seat onto chassis but need to get clips for carrycot. Ive also noticed on the Kiddicare website that I can buy a new front wheel for my buzz to turn it into the new buzz. The old buzz has three wheels but you can take that front wheel off and replace with new two pronged bit that makes it four wheel,if that makes sense. Not sure what the "drive" difference is , Im hoping to walk alot with itThanks to MSE for making it possible for me save to buy my new flat , yay !!

i already have a car seat for my travel system but its a pain to get in and out the car, plus both together are cheaper than some of the buggies ive been looking at.
My travel system is great until they are around 6 months, but its too big (Chicco trio) for use in the car and up stairs etc. I love my light weight Maclaren. The travel system wasnt really a waste of money as I loved using the carry cot and it had the car seat. but looking back id of been happy with a simple from birth stroller for practical use.
EDIT This is the one I got for DD. I also used it for Ds but i had a double buggy for a while and then as soon as DS was 6 months old he was in the beat up Maclaren. So not really worth the £300 we paid for it
