I have no choice.I work for two different manufacturers under one roof , im 80% one and 20% other but all meetings must have 2 company members and the people that would normally go are on holiday and as Ive been here longest I need to fill in for them even tho I only do 20% of that brands work if that makes sense. So everything that comes up at this meeting will be meaningless to me but I still need to represent the company I work for. So i'l be bored out my skull for two hours. Can you tell I feel sorry for myself ?lol In baby news tho my mum ordered my carrycot and its coming 2moro , yay!!!
Thanks to MSE for making it possible for me save to buy my new flat , yay !!

Just to mention I got sent a code for La Redoute which is supposed to give 15% off the spring summer collection and free delivery if you add a sale item to your basket.

It works this morning without having to have the full price item and I found some nice nursing PJ's which I've ordered - this is quite handy cos some of their stuff is really cheap in the sale but you usually have to pay 3.95 delivery.

They sell some nice maternity wear (type maternity or nursing in to the search box as seems to be a better way than going through main menu)

They also sell cute baby clothing and some of it's really cheap in the sale especially with the free delivery code.

If anyone spots anything and wants the code PM me (I don't think I'm allowed to post Redoutes codes on the discount board)
  • I'm just watching one born every minute now... I don't know what i'll do if they send me home. I don't even know how i'll get to the hospital in the first place... Nobody can drive me there and apparently some taxi firms won't take you if you're in labour. I might just call a taxi and not say why I'm off to the hospital. :S

Could you not buy some smart price shower curtains and sit on them in taxi? I think thats really mean , no-one wants to go into labour in a taxi on purpose. Im going to buy said shower curtains and put one in the car and put the other in the house incase.Im paranoid about my waters going , lol

I've got last nights and the week before's to catch up on as I've been too busy with the kids to watch them

Pixie - is there literally nobody who could drive you to hospital?

Can you still drive if your in labour? My OH sometimes works far out into the country and never gets phone signal. My hospital is literally 3 miles from my work and 5/6 miles from my house

I'm thinking of doing something along those lines. I searched online and there's a huge amount of people that are just like 'You must know someone, you've had 9 months to prepare' etc. I don't know anyone here apart from my cousin and if he's at work then he could be anywhere in the county. Also baby is due in July and I think that cousin might be going on holiday then anyway. Obviously you can't get an ambulance and a lot of taxi firms don't take you either. I'm totally fretting about this. It's not like the hospital is nearby either. It's a 45 minute walk normally so in labour, I'm guessing it would take me longer and if I was in pain and it was the middle of the night I can't see it being a fun experience. Sorry people, I'm probably having a panic over nothing. It's just the only thing I'm completely panicking about. I'm not even scared of giving birth anymore, just getting to the hospital to do it! :o

    Yep course ;)

I'm naughty as I don't get paid till Friday but they don't take the funds till they despatch if I recall correctly ;)

I've had La Redoute and Verbaudet stuff in the past for my kids mainly and it's been really good quality though expensive unless in the sale but you can't usually get free delivery on sale items and I hate paying delivery especially if you've only got one or 2 items.

I convinced myself anyway :D also they are on Quidco so 5% back hopefully
