  • Pink Lining Changing bags...

Has anyone bought one? I love the look of this one...

    http://www.pinklining.co.uk/shop/changing-bags/blooming-gorgeous-bags/blooming-gorgeous-grey-doves

Does anyone know if they are as good in reality as they look in the picture? Is the big strap long enough to go over both the handle bars of a push chair/pram? I'm trying to find a local stockist so I can see one but at the moment I've just got the picture to go by. Many thanks :)

A couple of the lady bumps have been talking about these bags :)

Sparkle, do you mean a carry cot that goes with a pram? I have one but found the mattress slightly thinner than Moses basket, so I didn't fancy it. Moses baskets are ideal for space saving, but as others have said , they are only in it for a short while or may not like it. I got mine from freecycle.
I've seen them go on eBay for £8, you can get a cheap mattress from babies r us.

I had one of the Pink Lining Bags when I had Ruby. It was a fab bag! Loads of pockets & you can get loads in it :) Hubby got me this for Christmas:

I have to admit it was love at first sight. Expensive for a changing bag but it's beautiful. The lining all zips out so when you have finished using it as a changing bag you can use it as an every day bag.
Our 1st baby is due 29th December 2007! :rudolf:
I'm hopeful that this get's me out of cooking Christmas dinner!

Baby Ruby arrived after 55 hours of labour & an emergency c section on Christmas Day at 14.41 weighing 6lb 6oz...And yes I did get out of cooking Christmas dinner!!:rotfl:

Have a look on John Lewis site, had some pink lining bags in the sale....

RBG - If your waters break in a supermarket they will give you vouchers - rather embarrassing but £100 quid in vouchers???

I've a moses basket going spare is anyone wants it??? PM me, you can have it if you're willing to pay the postage. Its a white one and its got a stand if its any use?? I had it for DS but we've bought a crib this time... Haven't got a clue how much it would cost to post, but can find out???

I've just put some stuff on ebay.... Hope it sells, not really for the cash (although it helps) but more to get rid of stuff....

Hi all, Just popped on to see if any babies had started to appear - I see thats not happened :(

I have the strongest nesting instinct ever omg i was just going to the toilet yesterday and then when I come doen I was like to oh - dont touch the bathroom wall because Ive painted it - he was like what? eh? and then today I bustled everyone out to buy the floor and tiles for the bathroom as I am having it finished before the baby I have decided!!!

Tomorrow I will be decluttering the house so I have told oh anything that he wants needs to be strapped down coz Ill be in bin (freecycle/ebay) mode tomorrow!!! lol

Well off to go make dinner - Gammon, egg and chips (although already had scrambled eggs already today :s) and gotta go brush my teeth (yes thats STILL my craving) :D

    will try and post later

ps - I had a little panic in b and q today as started having a really bad braxton hicks - they seem to happen more and more when Im out tbh id just rather go into labour at least you know that contractions are the start of something these bh just seem to be to make things a little harder lol oooo having another now oweeee :(
I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it.

Hi ladies and bumps. Very very tired madbird today. Can't even be bothered to turn laptop on. OH being brilliant in some ways then negative in others, like will everything be ok at scan, how we won't be able to do anything when baby here.

I'm so lazy today I've just eaten a whole bowl of cheese and onion Smash! Didn't fancy mini roast OH cooking. I'm just fed up. I'm never doing this again!

I'm having GTT because fall into every category that someone listed, plus I have an a in my name!
:heart2:Baby boy madbird arrived 15/06/11 by emergency csection weighing 9lb 13oz:eek: love him so much xx:heart2:

    Hi
My daughter is due to have her 1st baby in 4 weeks, which means i'm due to be a nanny for the 1st time.

I've resisted buying my grandaughter to be stuff, except for the travel system, and i've just bulked bought the baby wipes from boots, and the odd itemof clothing from tesco.

But today i bought a lovely t shirt from tesco which said ' i'm the little sister' as her dad has a little boy.

I';ve seen lots of stuff that says 'i love my mummy daddy etc'

but what i want is something which says

'my nanny loves me' or 'i love my nanny'

or something like that, so has anyone seen anything out there?

Plus what are the best places to join, to get some money off vouchers.

    thank you
  • In other news...I can tell my uterus is moving up I've got that ache under my left boob :o Only another 17 weeks of that then! :rotfl:
