Go back to bed hun, even if you lie and read you will still be resting.
I get that too when I walk for any distance and it is so flipping painful. It really puts me off walking anywhere!
Whoo hoo finally got my matb1 in today so will nip in work later once dh comes home and get that in and all sorted. Thank goodness!"That's no reason to cry. One cries because one is sad. For example, I cry because others are stupid, and that makes me sad."0 -
For those planning to bottle feed...
What formula are you planning to use & why? DS was BF for 6 months & then had to go on prescription formula so I've no experience of shop bought ones. I plan on BF this one but due to health issues I know I wont be able to do it for long so am trying to think/plan ahead. Thank you0 -

I used C&G green for both mineMF aim 10th December 2020 :j:eek:MFW 2012 no86 OP 0/20000 -
I used Aptamil with DD as I was told it was supposed to be the closest to breast milk on the market. Was bloody expensive though! :eek:Beautiful Baby Boy born 28 April 20110

I use Aptamil for Lily but its almost £10 a pack now. This baby was going to have c&g, but because im now entitled to milk vouchers during pregnancy im going to stock up in advance0

BBM I mostly breastfed but did use formula for a couple of months at night when dd was a few months old and I used Aptamil mainly because it says it is the closest one to breastfeeding or something along those lines. Had no problems with it at all. I'm sure I once used a carton of SMA and she puked it back up. Think it's the most expensive formula though."That's no reason to cry. One cries because one is sad. I was told by my MW not to buy any formula until the baby was born as the hospital would test the baby on the best kinda milk for them? I am assuming that this is now a load of rubbish???[/COLOR] Starting the new year in a good way cooking baby sharkeybabe no2:j:j0

Not sure? - they didn't do this at my local NHS hospital 6 years ago - just handed you SMA - which I ended up using for both of mine prob for this reason?
I used the blue top for hungrier babies for DS and the ordinary yellow top for DD - didn't have any probs and both healthy and happy (they are 8 and nearly 7 years old now)0 -
I ended up using SMA with DD and she was fine but chose Aptimal for DS. It was far more expensive but to be honest I dont think there is much difference.
I did find I had to put DS on the hungry baby formula earlier but not DD.But I fed her myself for longer.
This time round I aim to BF as long as poss. I know ill be a lot more tired this time having another 2 to look after, so im not putting any pressure on myself. If i end up FF I will chose SMA.:santa2::xmastree::santa2:0 -
hello ladies and bumps (and babies for those still lurking
)
Formula - I used Heinz but this wasnt widely available so tried Cow and gate but DD tended to be a bit sicky on it so I swapped to SMA which she kept down nicely. DD was very rarely sick so I dont know why C&G had that effect on her. But it is just to let you know that if you do stock up baby may have other ideas lol.
Lillian - Just a quickie, but I was a very traumatic birth for my mum, to the extent she didnt want any more children and had to stay in hospital for 2 weeks after I was born to recover. 4 years later my brother arrived and she had a natural delivery but she was considering a Csection, the only thing that tipped it was that he was predicted to be around 6lb with a small head where as I was 8lb15oz with a big head. The best thing to do would be have a word with your MW as every area has different views on everything! From my experience C-section is a lot calmer and easier to plan for but you just have to factor in the recovery time.
