I bought a grobag in the matalan sale the other night http://www.matalan.co.uk/fcp/product///sleepbag/956&resultsPerPage=100&attrList=Dept,brand and hubby was like......do we put the baby in that and he sprouts overnight??? I nearly wet myself laughing at him lmao

    :rotfl:

Hey that's a right bargain! :money:

I got DD loads of different ones over the year and a half she was in em, and the worst one was actually a proper Grobag one, zipped up the front and was a right faff. Much prefer the popper on shoulders ones.

The ones that popper on the shoulders are alright until they start moving, then I found DD2 would just climb right out of hers...

You can use most of them from 7lb by the way... Although I still prefer blankets for newborns, I think they need wrapping up when they're first born...

I got to sleep about half 1 in the end, woke at half 6 desperate for a wee and little monkey woke shortly after... I'm supposed to be visiting a friend this morning but I told her to remind me and she hasn't... And I'm very tired and not dressed yet.. What to do... What to do...
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...

  • OK what do I do today??? Do I do the basics and take my time about it so that hubby has stuff left to do tonight when he comes home and before he heads out to do another shift at 11pm or do I go full throttle and get everything done so that when hubby gets home tonight rather than worrying about what else needs done before the new stuff arrives tomorrow we can just snuggle on the sofa together?????? lol

    Morning ladies :D

Have an unexpected day off today as DD is not very well, in fact she is still sleeping which is just not like her. She wanted to go to bed at 6.20pm last night so I should have realised then she wasn't feeling very well.
When I went up to bed the back of 9 she woke up absolutely roasting so gave her calpol and let her lie beside me for a while, not sure if she dozed but she all of a sudden said Mummy I need the toilet, went, then said Mummy can I go downstairs now and get my breakfast! LOL

Coops no wonder you are upset hun, that's not fair of your DH's boss at all, kind of puts him in a very akward position, I wouldn't want my MIL there either, maybe a doula would be quite a good idea! Or how about all us ladies who live near (ish) to you come down and be your birthing partners :rotfl: Jeez could you just see it, a pile of pregnant ladies in the delivery room LOL

RBG brilliant news about your dad, what a relief for you......the little raver ;):D

Annibee LOL if I had a nightie like that my b00bs would automatically just flop out the arms anway :o:D

Sharkey really exciting about your DH coming home and if bubs doesn't show until due date at least you will still have that lovely quality time as a couple before the madness starts! :)
Oh and with regards to blankets etc, when we put dd in moses basket she had a cellular blanket then a normal blanket then I'm sure another cellular one it kind of depends on temp of room etc. You will just know when it's right. I too used grobags and they are fantastic, she was just a few weeks when we started using them.

lwcus good luck for today hun, hope that space hopping has worked :D

2girls ((hugs)) hun not sure what else I can say, maybe there are other ladies on here who have had CS's you could talk to about it. Take care xx
