Assuming I haven't had a csection, no I'll be the one going on the rides - my OH is a wuss and I'm the adrenaline junkie and we have an annual pass which I haven't been able to make the most of this year and we'll have 1 week to go when the park opens before it expires and have been invited out with some friends...baby would probably be 1 month old at least, maybe 6 weeks if he turns up on time.

I can understand tireness will be a factor, but not too much of an issue, Thorpe is only 30 mins away and it wont be a waste of money even if we went for a couple of hours. I just wanted to know if it was irresponsible? :o

Dusty- I bought a mama tens from chemist direct, was abot £45 but had some cash back quidco. I'll let u know how it goes.

I've defo had my show- came out in 3 lots sorry if TMI. I'm not sure now if My waters have gone. Just a trickle though-much less that what I expected. I've put a pad there to see what's happening in an hour. I've got backpain but no regular contractions.

Also re baby to Thorpe Park- I think it also depends on how content baby is. My DS had colic and screamed for hours in the day and night so couldn't take him out. My friend on the other hand had a lovely contented baby and she just slept for hours on end and they took her on hols (in this country when she was just 6 weeks old). I think it depends on the baby so you'll prob have to wait and see.

Oh no not at all, each to their own I say, just make sure you're all secure 'down there' as you may still be bleeding.

Next Thursday 27th Jan. I know I can opt for continued monitoring instead, which I am toying with. I really don't want to head down the slippery slope of the increased medical intervention that induction will likely bring with it.

If anyone has some spare labour vibes they can pass me in the meantime.

Haha - see this is the sort of thing I need to know! I forgot about the bleeding.

Thanks for the feedback - I guess it's a wait and see thing really then.

Labour vibes to Make It 3. Really hope something starts happening for you soon.

Yep and dont forget you cant use tampons so its towels all the way although hopefully after a month it should have stopped or at least slowed down, should think you would be fine with normal pads
