    Morning all!!!

Sorry for those who didnt sleep well. I didnt either went out light a light then woke up and couldnt get back to sleep. When I eventually did had some horrible nightmare about oh cheating on me (which Is odd because I dont think that lol) anyway it was awful and I couldnt get back to sleep then and I was really cross with him lol then I was sniffling - have the most annoying runny nose atm and then sneezing and then bump started wriggling and before I know it its like 5am! so I sort of drifted off but then ds1 woke up at half 6 just after oh went out so I have been in a trance on the couch from then till now. Had a lot of stuff to do today but I really cba now just waiting for ds to have a afternoon nap so I can get some shut eye.

Anyway off for a cuppa to try to de-comatose myself!

Oh Vroom, I'm very sorry. (hugs)

Sharkey - I'm happy for you that your OH is coming home :)

Washing: I washed all my baby clothes and bedding (second hand and new) in non-bio, but only because once I wore a new bra without washing and came up in a rash, so since then I've always washed clothes first.

We actually use value bio washing powder on ourselves (because I'm tight) and I plan on testing it out on baby gradually to see if they react.

Another thing to consider are soapnuts. We had a discussion about these a few months ago: http://www.soapnuts.co.uk/ I got a sample for about 75p from the website which I still haven't used, so can't comment on them yet.

Did you not get any non-bio samples in your freebie packs? I'm sure I got a few persil non-bio ones and almost certain I got a fairy non-bio one. But not sure.

There are definitely samples of Fairy non-bio in the one you get from the midwife, then there are a few Persil ones in the later ones as well. I've been using soapnuts so far though, as all he's getting on his clothes is milk and wee :)

RGb if you look at all the washing powder websites im sure you can ask for a sample. When I first had DD i used Ecolover for the babies clothes. Eventually I switched to Ariel non bio as they didnt have sensitive skin.
Im sure what ever you use for hubby and you will be fine, especially if hubby has psorisis (sp)

I will be washing everything before the baby wears them I hate the musty smell on new clothes, and a lot of stuff I have is second hand. They smell clean but have been sitting a while. The beauty is that nearly all baby stuff can got in the tumble drier. Ill do it all in a couple of loads once ive bought white sheets too.

VB sorry to hear your bad news sending you hugs

Sharkey, glad to hear hubby is coming home. It will be good for you both to enjoy the last couple of weeks together. As for the house, just do a wee bit each day. Pick a room and do it. I get on much better that way. i used to be terrible for starting one job then doing another when I popped in a different room. i just got stressed. theres no way you can just do it all in one day.

im also good at hiding things. In corners, under beds etc lol. if ive had a lazy day and not done much, before OH comes in a slosh some bleach down the toilet and run a baby wipe round the toilet and sink. That way he thinks ive been busy all day:cool: he doesnt really notice or care, but I feel I owe it to him to have a tidy house as he works.
It will never be like his mums house though, theres not a speck of dust in sight. but least our house looks lived in.

have we heard form Liliac pixie today? wonder if her pains stopped.

Im sure there was more I was going to say hmmm

where has everyone got their sheets from? normally I pop into mothercare and toys r us but they are a bit of a drive away now. I need to get 2 moses basket fitted sheets, 2 cot bed fitted sheets and maybe a new celular blanket (if its a girl). I know mothercares bundles are really expensive but was wondering if anyone got some good deals?

I got a cotbed pack from tesco http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.208-6764.aspx when it was reduced to £18.

For the moses basket I am using pillow cases for the 'fitted sheets' and I've since been given 2 moses/pram sized blankets. And mum bought a bargain pack in TKMaxx for £5 which had a moses basket size fitted sheet, flat sheet and cellular blanket.

Hope everyone else is feeling ok x

Hugs VB xx Feeling awful this morning , not sure if I will stay at work all day. Got a pain from around pelvic bone right up to belly button on my left hand side. Feels like a tugging feeling. Also feel really sick , scared to open my mouth incase I am :( Il be 17weeks on monday so hope its nothing serious. I never felt sick before , just had the pain and I assumed it was maybe my bump growing , now Im not so sure. Hugs to everyone that needs them
    xx

    Morning all

Hugs VB - sorry to hear that x

LabLover - I'm the same stage as you and I get those tugging pains a lot in this pregnancy and with them all from memory - I don't think they are anything to worry about - I've found personally you can feel sick at any time during pregnancy not just the first 3 month so I wouldn't worry about that - hope it wears off shortly x

Soapnuts - I've never used them - think I washed everything in non bio beforehand and didn't have any probs - in fact I only ever use non bio powder
