Morning ladies.

I had a better nights sleep last night and not having to get up at 6 for work was a blessing too! Yey RGB on having some sleep finally!

Going to venture out in a bit and track down a travel cot OH has seen, hence my question last night!

Hope everyone is OK, Labour vibes to those in need x

We have a travel cot Ice. I noticed last night and forgot to mention. It's got a colourful square mat that comes with it that you can take out and fold up (along with the travel cot) and it all folds nicely together. Think we got it from Argos. I could never figure out how to put it up lol! Anyhow... we won't be using it for this bubs because after DD we allowed her to have it in her room as a toy storage area. Massive toy box for her!

The mat is quite hard but when DD was a bubs I used to put a big pillow in for her to lie on. One of those massive ones. She liked it anyhow

I have sooooo much energy already today......first 3 jobs are done and taking a 5 minute break then going to go and do the next couple of jobs, going to try not to knacker myself either hehe

Yay for a better nights sleep for you too Ice hehe seems like all our insomniacs may have managed a better nights sleep woohoooooo hehe

Yeah to RBG for a good night's sleep. Teenie - dont worry about it, I feel myself panicking over the slightest wee thing at he moment. I still havent packed my Hospital bag, I havent even thought about it to be honest really should get my bum in gear but i CBA.lol.

Yay for good nights sleep RBG! I also slept last night apart from a loo trip at 5am

Sorry didn't get back on yesterday, spent most of the afternoon dozing then the evening catching up on housework.

Thanks Teenie & Pixie for your suggestions for what GTG may mean, although I wish it did mean good to go, on closer inspection it I think it does mean CTG but just in the wrong box. It's just the way the midwife has written it which makes it look like GTG.
Next doppler on Friday morning then a further growth scan on Wednesday then I might have some idea on what they want to do with us.

Right, I think I've just about caught up.

If it makes you feel any better, I'm still driving and I'm 38 weeks at the weekend although I have had comments off some family members who think that I shouldn't!

Oh Giz, I feel your pain! I'm getting fed up too. Supermarkets are the worst, I get looked at like I'm going to make mess of their floor or I get stupid comments from staff. I do find it hard to keep tight lipped at times.
I can make a judgement call if I don't like doing something or going somewhere but I do still have a house to run!
I know things are done with the best intentions but blimey, I'm only pregnant!

I know the whole people judging you on whether you should be doing stuff lol. I play in live poker tournaments and ever since bump appeared I get really strange looks about whether i'm going to drop there and then. I mean... come on! I've got 15 weeks to go yet. Pretty sure i'll not be there with 5 weeks to go but with 15 I've got a few more weeks in me yet! :mad:

Giz - sounds like my stretchmarks. I have 4. Three sticking out of the top of my 'belly button' one going underneath. They just seem to be getting wider with every passing day. In some ways I think that's better than getting lots of little ones, but I'm not sure. I decide once they've (hopefully) started to fade.

Charlie - use it to advantage and put people off wih your bump

Well, my 'period pains' have stopped. PHEW!! That means I should be able to carry on with the sanding later on today, and then tomorrow I can start painting the woodwork in the bedroom. Hopefully our wallpaper is in the post, although they haven't yet taken payment.

Hello Ladies,

To start with I'm sorry I haven't been online for a while, it all just got a bit too much a few weeks ago, and I just didn't have time.

I'm also a little late in announcing the birth on the 8th Jan of my baby girl Darcy Grace weighing 7lbs 3.5oz at 21.46pm, I got my Vbac, she came 20mins after my waters breaking! She was back to back and so I'm still tender and needed stitches. But she is an angel, she is feeding well, sleeping could be a little better as she is a little greedy at night! Her big brother adores her, he likes to give her kisses and cuddles!

Anyway she has just filled her nappy so must go! Will be porting on parenting page too very soon, and will try harder to keep up!
