  • Giz - thanks for the advice (I really should have bought a book let me know exactly what was happening lol)

I know how you feel about being molly coddled. My whole family seem to think that I am unable to do the simplest of things and keep trying to "help" I know I seem ungrateful but I am a 25 year old married women and have managed perfectly fine on my own for the past 8 months and I am able to make a cup of tea.lol.

Thanks Giz - from what they have ticked on the form looks like the right thing. Wish they had told me I had the form though!

My OH's birthday is Thurs and he was trying not to let me buy him any pressies as we had so many car expenses this month. I got him a ipod doking station with amazon voucher and also a dvd and hoody. Hopefully he will accept them hehe.

My Dad is the opposite - my Mum said ask your Dad to carry your bag and he said she needs to get used to carrying heavy things. Good job I know my Dad well and what he is like...he was joking I think hehe.

Fairyshazza - where was your cheap moses basket from again - I really want to get one and a stand for no more than £30. Sorry to hear your feeling pants, hope the antis take effect soon.

I got it off Ebay - searched for moses baskets in the range that matches the bedding we brought and then filtered the search to "nearest first" and there was one in Milton Keynes. After contacting the seller it just happened to be two streets up the road :)

Worth a try if you want one but don't want to spend too much :)

Its my DHs bday in 2 weeks and he wants a game which has no release date as of yet, so im printing the game cover out and sticking it in an old xbox case with an 'IOU' stuck to it so he has something to unwrap :D

Giz, i know how you feel with people treating you differently, with Lily i was at my mums friends house and she asked when i was due, i said 'tomorrow' and she went 'WOAHHHH, DONT BE GIVING BIRTH HERE!" and was being really weird. I think that if i felt any pains, i wouldn't be sticking round this random persons house :rotfl:

Gears of War 3 by any chance? It's on the most wanted list in our house too! :D

Thanks for that. Never even knew you could do that, sadly the nearest millie and boris one is still an hour away.

I think I may have found something though :). 5 mins away and looks in great condition, just not millie and boris, current bids at £2.20. :T

D'oh. Did big long post and then forum said "be right back". Can't be bothered to lay my heart out again so quick notes....

Lilian, beautiful boy. Makes me not too fussed about a girl now!

DueMarch11 - Sorry you didn't pass. But probably the stats are a lot higher for 2nd time takers - http://www.dsbs.co.uk/driving-test-pass-rates

Had barny with DH last night. Still a bit raw but did remedy it last night.

Midwife appnt today went well. Bump size on track, BP good, pee sample fine and heartbeat strong and recorded on my mobile and texted to DH, emailed to Dad etc etc! Still keep listening to it and looking at scan. Almost feels complete!

Right, off to bed to watch OBEM. God is that the time? Maybe not.

My OH wanted a computer game (Gran Turismo 5) but it turns out it'll never come out on the Xbox. That was supposed to be his pressie. Oh well.

Thanks it's so nice to know I'm not alone in feeling like this.

Ooh lots of birthdays then. I'm hoping my baby will hold out until February. We have far too many family members with birthdays in December and January. It does make buying presents harder when it's so close to Christmas.

Oh I think I found 3 stretch marks! They are just north of my belly button and quite wide (about 1/2 centimeter) They are just shiney - look like scars I guess. I was expecting them to be dark like pictures I've seen of other peoples stretchmarked bellies.
