Morning all
Failed to sleep past 4am again.
My bump seems smaller and bubs movements seem different, so he could be in a different position. Doppler scan at 10.30 but just heard that there is a 6 car pile up on the M6 so will have to find and alternative route.
I'm off soon so I'll catch up with you all later. Love to all bumps x

A lot of the midwives had commented on how alert, and strong he seems to be!
Keep forgetting he's only 3 days old!
I'm struggling with breastfeeding too. I don't enjoy it, find it really hard and my boobs are like 2 painful rocks..it's so uncomfortable, and Josh struggles to latch on as my boobs are like over inflated footballs
I've tried expressing too, but not much comes out and he's still hungry and screams. We've added in a few formula feeds too, but I think that it makes him windy.
I'm hoping these are all normal worries, and it seems lilian is having problems too.
To ladies who have babies already, do your boobs soften up a bit when the milk properly comes in, and how long does that take? Think I'm still producing collustrom (sp?)..quite yellowy looking liquid?Metranil_Vavin wrote: »Thank you princess.
I have the MW coming over tomorrow so I shall speak to her then. OH has to literally help me latch him on, and often Josh just screams and gets himself into a fury and I'm left feeling upset and useless
Been using the Medela breast pump to express, and hardly getting anything, particularly from the right breast which is so swollen.
I do want him to get the best nutrition, but I don't want me to be dreading feeding him everytine which I am at the moment.
OH is going out to get a few things..I'm nervous being on my own with the baby
Hi MV - not sure if you're still posting on this thread but hopefully you'll see this.
I decided along with OH and my MW to give up on breastfeeding - we had days of tears and tantrums and I didn't want to remember Sam's early days like that, so we've gone to formula and he's now sleeping brilliantly (well, he did last night, he's still only 5 days old!) and so much less tearful, as am I. I just couldn't get to grips with it and nor could he - it seemed constantly like his mouth was too small and I could never get the directional aim correct.
That's not me telling you to do the same, just sharing my experience. I did post on Facebook about it and got so much wonderful advice and reassurance from friends, I don't know if you can see my profile through the MSE groups but if you can, have a look for the post.
I can't remember if I posted a pic of Sam on here so if not, here he is - if I did, here he is again! My debt free diary | Post Office loan: £2131 1429.38 | Barclaycard: £4429 1988.12 | Paypal Credit £322.71 574.91 | Monzo Flex £169.03 |

Have got my driving test tomorroow, to say Im crapping my pants is an understatement. Anyone got any tips???
Adjust your rear view mirror so that you have to move your head a little to look through it. That way the examiner can easily tell when you're using it. Same with the wing mirrors. Try to relax as much as you can and have a nice drive around. You can't do worse than my brother's friend who knocked a cyclist over and had his provisional licence removed.
Good luck :AIf having different experiences, thoughts and ideas to you, or having an opinion that you don't understand, makes me a troll, then I am proud to be a 100% crying, talking, sleeping, walking, living Troll. :hello:0 -

Happy Birthday EA! Hope you have a fab day!
Good luck with test Dusty. As has been said - it's all in the observations. Mirrors lots and signal when needed. Sure you'll be be fine. Do it for you and bubs!
Lilian he is gorgeous! I had the same problems with my DD with BF. 3 weeks I held out being up every half an hour. By the end of it I was exhausted and disillusioned by the whole thing. I gave her FF one night and she slept right through. I swear I thought all my Christmases had come at once!Do what is right for you both hun. That's all that matters at the end of the day xx
Tired and still in my cba mood today. Wonder when it will lift?!Beautiful Baby Boy born 28 April 20110
