I'm not too bad, had some physio for my aching hips (which usually keep me awake if not the disco dancing in my belly) and although there isn't much she could do, I guess I feel a bit better for it.
I also have the guy who is going to replace me on maternity leave working with me this trip to check he knows what to do and to take the stress off me which is grand. Hopefully in a few days I can sit back and just let him loose on his own and catch up on the important things, like the forum!! lol
Go try catch a few zzzz sweetie and perhaps catch you later, though hopefully not tonight!!!!!

    xx

Oh, baby shower, I don't know too many folk in the area but the girls at work were lovely and on Friday last week they had a little shower for me!!! I was really taken aback as I hadn't expected it at all.
They got lovely little cupcakes with yellow icing and baby motifs and gave me loads of lovely pressies!!!
I hope you have a great time, when you doing it???

    Nightie night!!! zzzzzzz

    Okay ladies,
    Let me see,
Dusty - a slumber bear is a toy of sorts. It plays soothing music, white noise which babies are supposed to like and I think you can record your voice on it. It also has the sound of a heartbeat like they would have heard in the womb and it supposed to be great for settling them. I have heard lots of good things. Gonna get one closer to my EDD for the little on. Your bathroom is stunning by the way!!!!

MV - Huge Huge congratulations on Joshua. As others have said, he'll be a little heartbreaker!!! Well done. I guess we will all find out how difficult BF can be over the coming months and I think from my perspective, I am just going to try my best and see how it goes. There has been so much advice which is wonderful. We really are all a large family!!

Nic - (((Hugs))) Sounds like you are having a rough time. We are all here to listen to anything you want to say!!

BP - Labour vibes for you my dear!!!

Tickle - Boo Hiss for the medical team being a bunch of numpties about your being breech.

Susan - hope you feel a bit better soon

DueMarch - Good luck with the driving test. I'm sure you will do a wonderful job.

Not much more I seem to remember so sorry if I missed you out!!! I did read all the posts, honest guv.

13 more shifts to do and I will be on my leave. I can't wait. Shattered at the moment and glad I have a chap working with me to take the pressure off a bit. I suspect it will be straight home and fall into bed for me. Hopefully sproglet will get the message that I have been awake all night and that we need to sleep all day but I think I'm just kidding myself!!! Never considered that me working nightshift would also mean that sprog is also working nights. Poor mite. I am a cruel mummy!!!! lol

Better go and do some work, or check that the boy is doing it!!! lol
Have a lovely day ladies and bumps........

I didnt sleep much better last night - kept tossing and turning got a load of things on my mind and oh is stressing at me because I wont tell him - Its not that Im being secretive just a) he cant help and b) I dont want two of us unhappy:(

Today is a weepy day - stupid I know but I just know I feel emotionally drained *sigh*

PC - Thanks thats good to hear! Every ;little helps and all that - does it count for people already on mat leave?

MAdness - welcome and congrats :j

Hip grant came yesterday so put it straight into maternity pot so another 190 towards the hard times which is good!

Also managed to reduce my gas and elec by 16 a month yesterday and they owe me £88 so thats going to come in handy to.

Off for a cuppa to see if thatll cheer me up fromm being so glum.

Hope everyone has a lovely day! x

ETA - dunno if anyone would spend this money but theres a nice moses basket in the john lewis sale

    Here

They do it in pink as well. But youll have to buy the stand

Im skeptical about buying one as ds1 was so big when he was born he was only in for a week or 2
I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it.
