Watched OBEM - the waterbirth girl was brilliant. I really want a waterbirth - even more so after watching tonight's episode!

  • Hi
just wanted to pop by and say hello!! I 'know' a few of you from the less than 12 weeks pregnant thread, but i've been waiting to join in here-it just goes sooooo fast lol!
I'm 22 weeks pregnant with baby number 3-due 22nd May
I've got my second attempt at 20 week scan next tues-baby was lying all curled up last time and they couldn't get any measurements whatsoever-although they did see the heartbeat! Hoping it has moved by next week-at least it gives me a bit longer to convince dh to find out the flavour lol
Hope everyone is doing well (and bumps of course!) and i will try to keep up with whats going on over here lol

    What book is this? :)

Congrats hun, must be a huge relief as I remember your bad times before x

It;s the What To Expect: The First Year Book. There's only a small bit on breastfeeding, but it has a few tips.

Me too. I don't think I've watched a single waterbirth that seemed horrendous and I've watched quite a few. Really hope my OH's luck rubs off on me and the pool is free. I think if I have a dry land birth I'll cave and get an epidural.

Morning Bella hun...sorry you aren't sleeping well :S

I come downstairs and wait for the tiredness to hit with a blanket over me and the comp on, it distracts me from hearing my hubby snore upstairs although he didn't seem to be sleeping great either.

ML is going grand....first official day over and I was in my jammies until 3.30 lol....my carpal tunnel is playing up a bit tonight though so please excuse my typing I have my splints on lol

Have you tried taking anything for yourself, paracetamol ir anything like that??? xxxx

Oh hugs on that...have been lucky enough so far to avoid it and hope now I am off work I might avoid it completely but there is really nothing stopping hubby bringing it home to me :(

lol @ hobby....that's what they are really :P

my bubs has been having one of his nights too.....was heading to bed earlier and my friend from next door called in...she is sooo excited about me being preggers and the alien was going mad and all she wanted to do was touch the bump....i don't mind when a friend asks to touch bump but I can't stand randoms asking me too, it's freaky lol...they wouldn't ask to touch you any other time lol (it's my pet bug bear about people touching my bump lol)

make sure you are well wrapped up for sitting downstairs btw especially if you have the shakes atm......bubs will porobably go mad as his environment is being squished when you shake...I had a kind of shivering attack the other night and bubs went mental. lol
