Morning all
Didn't get on over the weekend so just reading back to catch up now.
Congrats to MV and Lilian! :T
I'd like to be added to the facebook group too but I've only just requested to be added to the main FB group as I emailed Sammi Girl and not Sami Bee!- silly me!
Hope everyone is well and ready for OBEM tonight?!0 -
Oh I could cry, anyone else still getting pregnancy sickness? I thought I was more or less over it but it's come back again and I feel really carp all of a sudden again, I have been sick every day now for just under a week after going about 3 weeks with nothing and feeling really well "That's no reason to cry. One cries because one is sad. For example, I cry because others are stupid, and that makes me sad."0

Congrats MV , cant wait to see some pics. It all seems so real now lol. Had Sunday lunch at mums yesterday it was great. My mum and dad are really spoiling me and when I left last night I felt like crying , lol Hormones !!! What is it with OH's and moving? After my little cry on Saturday at our lack of room and no second bedroom for nursery OH decided we should put the flat on the market in April :eek:Told him I was not moving whilst heavily pregnant and that they house will go on the market once bubs is a few months old .The only thing that swung it was I said that our mortgage is really small (one bed flat and biggish deposit ) and that while Im on maternity we could do with having more cash to spend on baby and food and have money for going on family day trips not to throw at a bigger mortgage :money:So looks like we will be staying put for a while longer, just hope it sells. Dont fancy having baby in our room for too long , 5 months was my maximum , lol.OBEM tonight , looking forward to that. Also took some tomatoey mince out the freezer so will make into lasagne and have some tomato flat bread to have with it mmmmmm and some cake from my mum for pudding.Sorted !! Hope everyone is okay today and not too sleepyThanks to MSE for making it possible for me save to buy my new flat , yay !!

Mine comes and goes and did the same with my last pregnancy - fits and starts as you say - it's a nuisance
One of sisters (she has 3 boys) was sick every single day of her pregnancy after food and all through her labours!
She got so used to it bless her - her youngest DS was born 12 weeks before mine and I recall going with her to pick up her older boys from school and I would say - "you coming in for a cuppa?" - and she would say - "yep - I'll just pop home and be sick first then I'll be over" (we lived round the corner from each other and my place was nearer) - so I would say - "you can be sick at mine if you like?" and she would say "no it's ok - I'll hang on till mine"
We laugh about it now but it must have been horrendous for her0 -
Congratulations to Lillian and MV
I've spent nearly all weekend in bed feeling dreadful. I think it's been the migraine from hell, still not feeling great today.
It's my 20 week scan today, feeling very nervous as I just want to know our little miracle is OK. Hope to find out it's gender, my mum thinks I'm having another boy. I've haven't a clue what I'm having, so much for mothers intuition
Very weak still so I've a date with the settee until I go to the hospital. Glad it's a school day so I don't have to worry about DS.0 -

Am still taking it. Just been prescribed iron tablets with added folic acid.
Congrats MV :j:j
Giz - I had my nursing bra fitting at mothercare on Friday at 36 weeks. They said it was ok, but they prefer to do them 2 weeks before due date. If I keep the receipt I can take it back if it doesn't fit in a couple of weeks. I decided I wanted one for the hospital bag now, just in case....
Teenie - I feel your pain. My MS has not long gone, so there is still hope for you to have the final few weeks sick free. Still get the occasional nauseous day, and bad travel sickness. I'm not wanting to get your hopes up too much, as that was the worst bit for me - people telling me it would pass after 12/16/18/20 weeks and it just carrying on.
Was given some advice over the weekend about baby's first poo. Apparently it can be a nightmare to get off baby, so I was told that it would be a good idea to put some mild oil or sudocream on baby's bottom to make it non-stick so the poo will come off easier. Anyone else heard this?
Off to attempt the pile of housework I need to do......If having different experiences, thoughts and ideas to you, or having an opinion that you don't understand, makes me a troll, then I am proud to be a 100% crying, talking, sleeping, walking, living Troll. :hello:0 -

We are trying to sell my flat and OH's house at the moment - we are a bit complicated in that we have 3 properties between us but one is rented out and OH stays at his house during the week (he works in central London) and mine at weekends (on Southcoast)
I've had mine on the market since Oct and no offers yet so we are going to leave it another couple of months and then rent a bigger house around April temporary until we can free up the equity in our properties - I'll be around 28 weeks then!
Only downside is that we will have to pay my mortgage and his till the places are sold (mine is only small luckily and OH says he can manage both with the additional rent so I will trust him on that one)
When I was pg with DS I moved around the same time so hopefully I did it then and can do it again (abeit being 9 years older now)0 -

Thank youI feel a mixture of VERY excited & completely terrified that they are going to tell me something is wrong. One thing that I do know is it has one hell of a kick on it LOL I've got my pound coins for the photos, they charge £5.
