    Morning all.

Congratulations MV - you're a mummy at last! Looking forward to seeing a pic when you're up to it.

I had a lovely dream last night where baby arrived and was nice and small (one of my few worries is that she's going to be huge), and a bit early, and best of all, the labour was totally stress free and painless! If only :D

Would somebody kind add me to the FB group please? - I'm on the main one that's on the EDD list, initials EU.

Congratumalations MV. Bet Joshua is gawgeous - can't wait to see piccies.

Princess, I was a belly sleeper but the nearest I get now is with a pillow between the legs and manouvre my bobs and belly on it too.

Can I just say.... v-i-a-b-i-l-t-y! 24 weeks for me today hurrah :)

Got my pram all out yesterday. Must learn to read instructions first as it was a laugh trying to remove the car seat from the isofix stand! It's all very good quality and I was impressed with some of the features like the carrycot bit is ventilated and has an adjustable back! A little pocket for the insect net....I'm just pleased as punch with it :)

Right, work. I might be near 9am today. Got the boiler man coming back out today but luckily builder is here. It's been churning out loads of fumes and black smoke so the house stinks. Might have to watch for a headache later but luckily we only have it on for an hour or so before waking up! eek.

    Morning xx

Hope everyone is fit and well. :)

Sharkey when is your OH due home? Glad to hear everything is fine with baby, bet you feel loads better. Poo pants to the infection though. :(

That's a bit cheeky of the pram shop Cutterby. Not the same, well slightly, but DFS did that with us and our sofa, anyway we kicked up a fuss and got a free pouffe! :money:;)

Congratulations MV, hope those 28 hours weren't too bad. The first night is always the worst. It does get easier :j

Im feeling awful today really down. I feel really stressed and feel everything is weighing on my shoulders. OH and I really need to talk but are both finding it hard. I think we both don't really want to hear it.
I wish I could get it off my chest but I feel guilty for talking about our relationship on a public forum.

I wish i didn't have to feel so responsible all the time. I want to run away and hide.

Sorry for the depressing post, especially with all the happy birth announcements.

  • Hitchins - Hubby is due back on 6th Feb and I am due on the 15th. As much as I would love DH to be there at birth, at the end of the day, if she makes an early appearance there aint much either of us can do about it, but i might sit with my legs crossed for a couple more weeks.lol. Yeah I am glad that everything ok with bubs and it was nice hearing the heartbeat for so long, however she still has moved that much, compared to wat she usually does, think that is what has got me concerned as I know all her movements, just going to keep an eye out for it. On another note though, last night has finally given me a kick as to get the house prepared for her arrival - have been so lazy and laidback about getting things organised, so have recruited my brother to take me to ikea tomorrow to get the rest of my furtniture for the nursery and get it all built up, so at least then if she arrives early she has somewhere to sleep.lol.
Heading to work for a few hours today and then home for a sleep, im knackered already and its only 8.30am :(

Fingers crossed she stays put till then Sharkey x

Nic - Any consolation I'm the same. Spent most of yesterday in tears, OH brow beating me into moving nearer his family (they're only 8 mile away FGS) be the worst thing ever for me, but he won't shut up about it and now he announced his mother is asking her neighbour about an exchange!!!. Then later on he started saying I haven't took care of myself, I should be drinking milk doing this that and the other.:mad: And now he's all smiles and expecting me to be, when really i want to thump him and scream. Talk about kicking a dog when it's down. :(

    Rant over.

    Morning ladies :D

Huge Congratulations MV :j:j and what a lovely name, we chose that for DD is she was going to be a boy. Things will settle down for you, honest!

((hugs)) Nic :( you know we are all here for you hun xxx

Sharkey glad things are ok with bubs, boo for the infection though.

Grateful so sorry to hear about your MIL :(

Cutteryby I would be really peed of at the shop doing that with me, how cheeky! Enjoy your sweets you deserve it ;)

Hitchins and RBG sorry you ladies are still not sleeping how frustrating!

I never slept great last night either, never had my lovely dream in the end just ended up having a nightmare. So I was awake for a wee while during the night too. I find the best thing for me is to read for a while and I usually drop off eventually. Kept coughing and spluttering last night again too which didn't help. Looks like this thing, whatever it is, might hang around and not really come to much after all.

Flu jab today but I think i should be ok for it? I've not got a bad cold just more phlegmy:o sorry I know that's gross.

Took out a joint yesterday (of beef just in case you were wondering LOL :p;):D) but it hadn't defrosted so have to cook it today. Now I will cook anything and am quite a good cook, even though I do say so myself :D but I have never cooked a roast before. Bit nervous.

Right I have waffled more than enough. xxx

I'm sure you will hun, but stick to your guns. We moved when I was 5 months pregnant to a village a few miles from where we're from and it was fine at first and though oh this is a lovely wee place, but when DD was born I felt so isolated and lonely and it was quite a cliquey wee place. I had the car but still I hated some of those days, and because of the distance to work DH was up at 5.30am and not home until 6.30pm I was desperate at times but he woudn't budge on moving. I told him the other day I really resented staying there and to a point resented him for not moving back to our home town sooner we moved when DD was a year old.

 at DH poor you! Tell him to wind his neck in, you are an adult after all and know what's good for you and bubs.
