Apparently I'm selfish as it would be better for all of us....better for him more like! I'd be totally cut off (don't drive) and only have his family for company, and pound to a penny every weekend he'd be out with his cousins. Yeh sounds great.:(

I just know we'll be bickering again when he gets home because I'm so fed up and angry and he thinks he's doing nothing wrong, I can't let things go over my head, I won't stay schtum. Just could bloody do without it right now.

Morning Lady Bumps

Sharkey glad you got sorted and your mind was put at rest....at 3am I was sitting here thinking about the fact bubs hadn't moved since 3pm yesterday (and that is soooooooo not like him) when I got a little reassuring kick to say he was there sending stay put vibes your way from now until 6th Feb so that even if hubby has to get off the plane and straight to the hospital he can still be there

Hitchins did you finally get to sleep last night and why on earth would your hubby want you to move with just over 6 weeks to go....does he want you in early labour with stress :mad::mad::mad: MEN!!!!!

Teenie I keep wondering if a joint would help me sleep :P (just kidding I promise :rotfl:)

Nic if you need to get stuff off your mind or get opinions come talk to us......I know it's a public forum but at the same time in here you can be that wee bit invisible from the public gaze of family.....the only friends that know I am in here are you guys and hubby and he understands that it is somewhere to help vent xxxxx

ok atm that's all I can remember so am going to go and have some toasted soda and tea

We are here to off load though . I live 30 seconds walk away from both my mum and MIL, not sure if it's a good thing or bad thing just yet. Will let you know when bubs is here and i'm being hounded day and night .

Sorry to see you were both up again hitchins and RBG. I didn't sleep well weither - was wakened at 3am and was still lying there listenign to OH snoring at 4am, not sure what time I drifted back off but when my alarm went off this morning i wanted to cry.

This carpal tunnel is so bad now. We nearly had tears this morning cos of it.

Well done MV - sounds like a marathon but I bet he is worth every penny now - don't be a stranger.

Thanks for the compliments on the bathroom ladies - I have to say I am very proud of it, not bad for a little 2 up 2 down terrace. It's my fave room in the house now

Morning everyone else!!

I had a carp nights sleep again, woke at 3.45am after having another horrfic nightmare and couldn't settle again until 6.30 when I have to get up at 7.30!
I know these nightmares are just anxiety about the baby but I could do with the rest at this moment in time.
Off out in a bit to sort out flowers for OH grandad's funeral which is on Friday afternoon so I'd better go and get ready to pop out.

Sharkey, you're about a week ahead of me but I've noticed my baby has gone a lot quieter too... It was moving constantly for weeks, to the point I was worrying it moved too much... And now it's moving a lot less and a lot less frequently... To the point I'm starting to worry it should be moving more... But that's kids for you... If you're not worrying about one thing, it's another!!

I couldn't drop off last night at all... Felt like I hadn't slept when DH's alarm went off at 5:15... Then DD2 got up at 6:20 anyway... Just waiting until 9:45 and I'll put something special on cbeebies and have a sofa doze lol...

Haven't caught up by the way, had a quiet weekend with the family, but it's nice to see so many of you have infiltrated the super secret group

:eek: I think I would cry if I was that close to my mum lol...MIL not so bad but my mum would have me committed lol

Get to the physio about the carpal tunnel and get splints Dusty....I have 2 splints now that I wear at night and I am now down to not wearing them every night although I do still get the numbness and tingling and when that strikes I just put the splints on again

Morning ladies, massive congrats MV, hope little one settled last night. Had decent sleep by my standards, woke around midnight for a wee, awake for half hour then got back to sleep. Woke few more times when rolled over, but didn't wake til 8. Which wasn't good as woke up with bad headache and OH telling me we've got a leak in roof. There is damp patch on ceiling, he has been in loft and says a beam looks wet and probably dripping from there. Oh joy. When I can get out of bed I'll search for a roofer.

I'm 37+5 and going to see if I can get measured today for a nursing bra. Not sure if it's too early. At the least I can get booked in. I'm in M&S today anyway so I thought I'd ask.

@MV - I've been checking _all_ day everyday since you disappeared then you decide to announce when I go to bed Congrats on baby Joshua

Don't forget OBEM tonight :j:j I can't wait, but I'll have to watch Ch4+1 as I'm out. There is just too much TV on Mondays (silent witness, OBEM, Glee and Hells Kitchen).
