Who's the tax guru? Was it princess? Can you explain working tax credits to me please? As I can see we'll qualify for child tax credits £20.33 a week but not working tax credits, I can't see the income threshold to qualify for it anywhere. Can you help? Xx0

Hi Pixiepops!
I am in love with our Phil and Teds - better as a single than our Urban Detour, and superb design..0 -
Have you tried the Direct Gov Benefits advisor? http://www.direct.gov.uk/en/Diol1/DoItOnline/DoItOnlineByCategory/DG_172666
I find it MUCH better than entitledto.0 -
Thanks EA I've done the calculator but looks
Like we qualify for child tax credits not working tax credits, most of the answers are theory tho Til bubs arrives. We should manage tho on the extra £20.33 a week if we shop in an mse way. God knows what we'll do when I go
Back to work and we have to think about childcare. Xx0 -

I don't use the calculators i use the tables
http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/leaflets/wtc1.pdf
page 9 has the combined table
work out 1 years income from when the baby arrives luckily you are due almost the exact start of the tax year so it's easy. Add yours and OH's together if on SMP take off £100 per week for you.AKA: PC

Oh dear, just checked my car seat and it's stamped on the bottom "Do not use after December 2008" but OH is still not having any of it and he thinks it will be ok.
Now I don't know what to do for the best as my mum has bought me a 3 wheeler because I kept the travel system.
Any ideas? Should I get a cheap travel system or just a car seat?Virtual Sealed Pot 2013 #41 - £69.27OJ born 25/01/110 -
