OMG Nic that is bad  I don't think i'll be using them again if that's the case, far too many unhappy people on here.
Feeling very wobbly and drained this afternoon and a bit emotional I probably over reacted this morning but I have never had a cheque bounce before and I couldn't stand the thought of the shame if the nursery one bouncedDH was VERY apologetic when he came home, still making him suffer though. We both just need to be more careful.
Went swimming again this afternoon which was great and then went to see my BFF after I picked DD up from nursery, so we had a good moan about our OH's:D
Thanks ladies for your shoulders xxx"That's no reason to cry. One cries because one is sad. For example, I cry because others are stupid, and that makes me sad."0 -
A ha! I've got the half price wipes and toiletries event! Super - thank you
Are these things usually in store as well as on line?
Thanks for the help guys0 -
I have to admit that I would not use vertbaudet again ever. Ordered stuff in the sale and used a code for 15% off with free p&p but after a month of waiting received a letter with code and apology for delay. Went to use code -wouldn't work and they cancelled my original order. Were very unhelpful when I contacted them. Grrr

Evening ladies and bumps!!
Haven't had a proper look at past posts but hugs Teenie re money etc, it's one of the reasons that myself and OH do not have a joint account. I had joint accounts with ex's which caused me nothing but trouble in the past!
And on the subject of Vertbaudet, I had the misfortune to deal with this company a few years back and it doesn't sound like they have improved much!
Just an update from me, been to see my consultants and had a growth scan today.
Very happy to report that baby is growing really well and now they estimate him being just shy of 3lb at 28+4 which is really encouraging. The little monkey is breech though which I had the feeling he was, his head is stuck under my stomach which accounts for the amount of heartburn I've had! Next scan is in 2 weeks time just for reassurance and to see if things are still going in the right direction.
Haematologist is still keen for me being induced at 38 weeks rather than going into spontaneous labour due to me being on Clexane as it will be easier to manage and to stop taking it a couple of days before my induction date because of the speed of my last labour but I'm not able to have an epidural as pain relief due to risk of bleeding and I will probably have a little longer stay afterwards for the same reason.
Asked him about breastfeeding and he said it will be fine.
So all round happy, happy, happy :j:j:jVirtual Sealed Pot 2013 #41 - £69.27OJ born 25/01/110 -

HIP grant
working tax credits
child tax credits
child trust fund
am I missing anything else?
HIP grant is for "If you reach the 25th week of your pregnancy before 1 January 2011". Which I think you will - so you just got in there for that.
I thought the child trust fund was abolished in August already. Just checked for you:Update: Changes to the Child Trust Fund scheme from August 2010
You may have seen the news that the government intends to reduce and then stop CTF payments.
The first lot of changes are now in place and these are as follows:- from 1 August 2010, the extra payments for seven year olds have stopped
- from 3 August 2010, the £250 payments have gone down to £50
So no, your baby won't get anything from that
I have some questions...
* Is there any reason why I couldn't use a pillow case for covering the moses basket mattress?
* How many moses basket/pram sized blankets do I need? Am going to use tesco double up. They are 3 for 2 at the moment. So 6 blankets would be about £10 of clubcard vouchers. That'd leave me with £10 (=£20) to buy some vests/sleepsuits.
Anyone get their Currys/PC world voucher? Got mine today (sadly didn't win £1000). Not sure what to spend it on. Probably just photo paper for my scrapbooking. Not very exciting, but it's something I use a lot.
@Nic - I would be really p****d at verbaudet too. Is it the sheep pastel coloured changing bag? I was very tempted by it but got put off ordering anything from there. I would keep badgering them...they should give you a different changing bag at the least. I would write a snailmail letter. I think sometimes snailmail gets a more formal response from companies.Baby Giz born 6/2/110 -
Just been nosing at the Sainsburys half price sale...I'd like some opinions please...
Less than a fiver for Lansinoh? Surely this is too good to pass up? The best I've seen so far is £8. Last time I asked you guys convinced me to hold off for free samples from midwife though...
Seen they have maternity towels for 52pSeems like a bargain. Reckon they are any good? They have wings too.
And finally, I need "baby wash" for my reusuable wipes recipe. What is baby wash?! Are any of the johnson products at sainsburys this?Baby Giz born 6/2/110
