Yes I've always owned it, had the whole travel system with DD and hated using it from day one and as soon as she could sit up I bought a cheap Mothercare buggy and she was in it until she went to school.I certainly got my money out of that one!
So the car seat had the most use but it's been in the loft since DD stopped using it at about 9 months.
Anyway, OH couldn't see the harm in using the car seat but I did say that if it was close to expiry then I could see his point but not over 2 years when little fella gets here and being in the loft all that time might of made the plastic brittle and not safe if we ever had an accident.
Cue stupid remark off OH "Well I'm not planning on having an accident" Tut! I didn't even bother replying to that one!
Anyway, I think he thought about what he said and told me to do what I thought was best. So I'm going to have look on internet after I've taken DD to school. So any ideas of not too expensive travel systems or any current offers that are out there gratefully appeciated!!!
Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Bufger on the safe arrival of baby Ethan!

Congrats Bufger.
I need some help ladies, feeling very low. I have 2 funerals that i'd like to attend next week, both were friends of the family and one of them i've known for the last 27 years. My boss has approved me having the day off for one of the funerals, but someone else i work wth wants to go and was closer to the other person than i was. She was initially refused the time off, but he has backed down and is letting both of us go, but not allowing me to go to the one thats most important to me despite me offering to take it as unpaid.
I disagree with a lot of things he does, and this is the last straw. I only work 6.5 hours a week but do a lot of voluntary running events and fairs (its in a school) meaning i spend a lot of time there. I feel like quitting, but don't want it to jeaopardise my mat allowance (won't get smp).
Am i right in thinking that as long as i've work 26 of the 66 weeks up to baby's due date that i will still qualify for it?:)Henry James Born 18/03/2011-11 days late!:)

RE: Sainsburys baby event – do I wait till after work and head down there straight away or should I put in an order through the website during the day?
Am thinking that some of the items are such good value that by time I get there at 5pm they may be out of stock in the storeI don’t go to Sainsburys as a general rule so would be making a special journey so would be unlikely to go back again if I can't get what I need in my first trip.
They did send me a voucher for free delivery on your first internet shop with them so would mean I wouldn’t have to pay extra for that plus I have a number of vouchers for extra points etc tooOne day Rodney we'll be millionaires£2020 in 2020 - Running Total £170
