  • Morning Ladies and Bumps. I am with you on the no sleeping - hardly slept a wink last night and now feel totally exhausted, Very glad that I am now on maternity leave as I just wouldnt have been able to function. Congrats Chankani and MV for reaching your due dates - labour vibes to you both.
5 weeks tomorrow I'm due, just hoping that the baby will make a quick appearance, as I am getting really peeved off being pregnant.
I'm waiting on Shades Blinds to come and measure the house for new blinds but they are late and I'm getting really frustrated coz Im starving but I know that the minute I sit down to eat something the guy will come.lol.

Dunno If anyone else is as impatient as me - I just want my baby now 11 weeks seems far too long to wait lol

I was in Next on saturday and there were 3 newborns in the queue in front of me, OH had to hold me back fro walking over and picking them up for cuddles.
    I'm SO broody atm.

I've managed to get a scan for this afternoon as my 14 yr old autistic son kneed me in the stomach last night whilst having a paddy.

Fingers crossed everything is ok as I was having dull aching pains last night.

I'll let you all know how it goes.

    Vicki

Fingers crossed, I'm sure everything is fine as bubs is well padded in there, and yay to extra scan too :)

Dusty I'm hoping the same, am paranoid about being late / induction so April Fools would be handy for me as well (altho won't give me much ML before baby comes). Birthday buckets of water balanced above the door, or totally inappropriate presents (then nice ones in the afternoon), oh the entertainment value :D I'm banking on being twins on birth dates as well (wouldn't expect anything else! :rotfl: :rotfl:) so if you can crack on for April Fools I'm bound to join in :rotfl:

I wouldn't expect anything less, both have boys on the same day I reckon. wouldn't be suprised if we had picked the same names too :rotfl:

Well Im back at work so have t'internet. Have all the stuff to set it up at home , but Im not sure how to do it because I have one phone socket and I already have a double plug in it with phone and sky , so Im thinking I may need to get a tripple plug for sky, phone and broadband?. Evrytime I get the box out I lay it out and put it away again , lol:o Had a rubbish start to the new year my OH got paid off , he had only been with the firm for 10 months , so doesnt have any rights or pay off , etc. Not stressing too much tho as its not good for the baby. He had thought things were going bad for a while so had put word out for work and has a few things he can do self employed so fingers crossed things will work out.Got my flu jab today and getting a mole removed 2moro so once I get them out the way I'l feel a bit better. Cant remember who said it but good night for TV , OBEM (going to be weird watching it this time round as a mum 2 b ) and shameless. Quite excited as there is a mums and mums 2 b sale on in local town hall , mums who have stalls can swap things with other mums and people can also go to buy things(its all second hand but is all checked before they are allowed on stall ) a family friend got loads of great stuff last year so fingers crossed Il get a few bargains. Anyhoo massive post , Im also not sleeping well , when does the constant peeing stop ?Im 15 weeks now

    Hi LabLover
I think the constant peeing stops when you have given birth x hopefully :o thanks for the reminder about tonights telly - going to watch OBEM :)

My mum says that the insomnia in pregnancy is mother natures way of getting you used to the sleep deprivation - seems so unfair!!! - I have suffered with this in all 3 of my pregnancies so far especially in the last trimester - isn't mother nature a b*tch!

BCS - hope the scan goes well and all is ok x
  • YEAH!!!!! On a totally non pregnancy note. Just got Mr Shark's flights home - he is due back 3 weeks on Sunday. Can't wait to see him, sooooooo excited!!!!!

I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it.

  • Hehe - funny that is exactly what my DH said.lol. Have really struggled with him being away this time and am very glad that he has finally decided that enough is enough and he wont be going away again. Just hoping that the money etc we will still be able to cope, but im not even bothered about that at the moment, just glad he is coming home in time for bubs.

Good luck for the scan BCS - I'm sure it will be ok, they are very well protected in there. I got kicked hard in the stomach when I was PG with DS (It was at work, with a stroppy teenage boy) They did a scan and a trace, and everything was completely normal. Hope it is for you as well

Sharkey - not my due date yet, sadly - but from yesterday they will come and do a home birth:T
Yay for your OH coming home - I remember the feeling of relief last time when mine finally got back. It's so lonely isn't it, being pregnant on your own, especially near the end. I bet you really can't wait.

MV - happy due date. I'm another who has followed you all the way through from TTC (both times) and I'm so looking forward to seeing baby MV - you will remember a picture, won't you? :D
