Just got an email from Mamas and Papas. They have a bottle starter set half price (only £10). And They have Kato Buggies at half price (down to £60 from £120). They're suitable from birth and look quite good for anyone who uses public transport because they look quite compact and small.
Here are the links if anyone's interested:

Not caught up with today's news (will do later on though). But can I just say :mad::mad::mad:
Had a blood test last week. Today I get a call from the Dr telling me that my prescription is ready to pick up regarding my blood test. No mention of what it is, what's wrong with me. COMMUNICATION people. It's not hard.
I'm going to hazard a guess that I'm slightly anaemic as I've been unable to eat eggs for a month or two now and I suspect that's been my main source of iron. Well, I shall find out on Wednesday when I go pick it up. GrrrrrIf having different experiences, thoughts and ideas to you, or having an opinion that you don't understand, makes me a troll, then I am proud to be a 100% crying, talking, sleeping, walking, living Troll. :hello:0 -
hngrymummy i think most health centres are like that now a days. I had to have special appointments because I was deemed as infertile then went on to have a natural uplanned pregnancy. However they were supposed to be offering more care in the first few weeks....... dont think so , they lost a urine sample, they messed up my booking in appointment , then they took all my bloods at booking in appointment , then I had to provide more blood 3 days later as my original samples went missing ? Its a joke it really isThanks to MSE for making it possible for me save to buy my new flat , yay !!

Hello SmlSave
You're a week behind me, but not I've not felt anything yet. I reckon I'll probably freak out when I do feel it as I don't think mentally I've really made the connection that the little baby on the scan is actually inside me lol!
Our friends have said we can borrow their mamas & papas moses basket and stand which is great. Just have to buy a mattress.0 -

Perdi, what's the mattress like that comes with the moses? We've just been bought a second hand one and the mattress is completely plastic covered... I don't see how that can be dangerous to re-use at all?! So I'm not replacing it... Although, I don't know if the baby will sleep in it at night yet, it's mainly for the living room... We have an Ikea cot for in the bedroom... With a second hand ikea mattress that DD2 slept on with no problemsA very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Hi everyone
Can I join the group?
I'm 16.5 weeks along and think I can feel the baby move, could just be gas though!
I second what ema said about the flu jab, I couldn't sleep on my right side for a few days afterwards as it felt like i'd been punched in the arm.
Think you should be fine getting the jab supermaiden, just double check with your Dc's
Welcome :j:j:j:j:jPlease do not confuse me with other gratefulsforhelp. x0 -

I'm not actually sure tbh, we're still in a holding pattern until after the scan so not looked into it any further. We'd change it anyway as they have cats who like to sleep in things and we're both allergic so wouldn't want to chance it0
