Got a midwife appt this afternoon yay, I like my midwife she's lovely......plus it only means a half day at work.
Sorry annibee Ive no idea, a hot water bottle (wrapped in a towel/with a cover on) has been quite helpful for me. Ive heard a bath can help too but we only have a shower which didnt really help me so cant say from personal experience xSealed Pot Challenge Member 151

So it does really annoy me and make me tetchy and then I pick at things and start a fight.

Oh my word you could be me!
OH has literally done NOTHING all xmas as he was 'on his holidays'. I've done all the shopping, cleaning, washing etc, he never lifted a finger. So as last night was his first night back at work, I walked round the house and worte a list of jobs that need doing in each room e.g gloss the bathroom door, paint nursery wall, clear our back yard etc then presented him with it this morning as he is now 'off his holiday's :rotfl:0 -

Hi ladies - Midwife appt tomorrow finally.
Just a quickie - Im having quite a lot braxten hicks (well i assume that is what they are) they started a few weeks back and yesterday I had them coming and going all evening. Ive been drinking klots of water as Im sure someone mentioned that and since I never had them with ds1 Im not too sure what else I can do to relieve them any tips? They are so uncomfortable! and I really dont fancy having to have them everyday for the next 11 weeks!
I posted some advice a few pages back, have a look here: http://www.abdopain.com/braxton-hicks.htmlDueMarch11 wrote: »Thanks for that lillian, I shall have a look at it later!

I've just finished mine over Christmas, so not as early as you but still fairly early! It can't hurt to be prepared!dustystar02 wrote: »

He's not that bad, he has done shopping and washing, taken me to Ikea etc, it's just that our 'active' periods don't seem to match up!My debt free diary | Post Office loan: £2131 1429.38 | Barclaycard: £4429 1988.12 | Paypal Credit £322.71 574.91 | Monzo Flex £169.03 |

It's always the way isn;t it? Especially as my OH works nights.
He did take me out for a few romantic nights out though so I'll let him off0 -

I had this yesterday and it was driving me demented. They settled after I had a bath last night but I was working yesterday so the only way I found I could relieve them was by walking around and changing my sitting position....mine were quite strong as well and I don't fancy them for the next 8 weeks so you have my sympathies.....I have increased my water intake....I think it was Lillian that put up advice for me yesterday (but can't be sure so sorry if it wasn't lillian lol)The pod landed and produced baby Timothy on 10th March 20110 -

I really can't complain about my hubby, he has been fantastic and is actually more worried that I am about the fact he is heading back to work tomorrow and there is still quite a bit to do before the alien lands :SThe pod landed and produced baby Timothy on 10th March 20110 -
Hi all,
Bit nervous this morning, I have my growth scan and doppler this pm. They weren't too happy with readings last weeks so I am bit nervous. Although I know things will be ok as I'm 36 weeks.
Baby is 4/5th engaged (I also have a mw friend who checks me over!:D) I'm having back ache and shooting pains and need to wee very often-I know these are common pregnancy symptoms but will be intruiged to see if I have an UTI?
Re, packing hospital bags early- yes, I think its wise. Had my first baby 32 weeks and took me completely by suprise. It was nightmare telling OH, can u bring me this and this and having to explain where everything was. I can remember asking him yo fetch my black bra and old big knickers and he'd bring down my g-string and wonderbra!!! Dont know what he had in mind!! Was just lucky I'd ordered cot and pushchair etc on internet the day before.
Q- at what stage does mw start examing your cervix for signs of dilation etc. I want to have down there waxed/tidied up before the birth but dont know when best to do it.

Duemarch, she usually sleeps until 830/9am, but she didn't go to bed until 10pm last night
She just likes to sleep, she's constantly on the move throughout the day so i imagine she's knackered at night time0
