    LOL.
Obviously with IVF i had been given a test date.
I did the test at 3am in the morning and tried to wake hubby up saying ommg its positive. At which point he went ok and went back to sleep lol.
My BFP joy was shared with the lovely people at fertilityfriends.co.uk hours before my hubby realised what had happened lol
With Lily i tested at 5am and woke him up by waving a p!ssy stick in his face going 'omg is that a line?!'
Did another test at 7am which was faint so i dragged him to boots to buy a digital test at 8am :D

I did it and made him go and get it from the kitchen because i was scared. Hehe.

Hope you've all had a great NY Day.

Just back from MIL's after a meal and hopefully back to some sort of normality now.

    Big hugs for Nic x

Sharkey, Giz and Lilian, I think our bubs were having a night of it last night, I had really painful braxton hicks that started at about 10.30 and at one stage were coming every 10mins for 20 seconds  at 12am I was in tears because they were causing me so much back pain so I went to bed after taking a couple of paracetamol and they eased off at 1.45am, I thought if I couldn't sleep I would phone the hospital but the next thing I knew it was 8.30 this morning. Phew!
No pains today - yet but bubs was going wild last night so I don't know if he set the cramps off. He is being very quiet at the moment which is not like him at all, I'll have some cold water and give him a prod in a mo. Hope he's not planning on making an entrance yet and I don't fancy a trip to Birmingham this evening.

Congratulations Beakatron on the safe yet early arrival of Callum, hope you get him home really soon.

Welcome ecoelle - what you did for hubby made me cry :o huge congratulations!

When I did my test we were on holiday with the inlaws and OH just looked at the test and mumbled something and went back to sleep!! LOL, funnily enough DD asked for a brother later that day, bearing in mind only me and OH knew at this stage - spooky!!

Hello to anyone I've missed - off to see if I can move the boy, catch up with you all later xx

The boots changing bag you get a voucher when you join the parenting club. You need to buy a packet of pampers though.
  • Vroombroom if you sign up for the boots parenting club, they'll send you some vouchers, including one where if you buy some nappies, you'll get the changing bag free :-) x

I, not events, have the power to make me happy or unhappy today. I can choose which it shall be. Yesterday is dead, tomorrow hasn't arrived yet. I have just one day, today, and I'm going to be happy in it.
